23.01.2022 Who would like the chance to win some fantastic prizes in the People's Choice Community Lottery this year? Did you know that someone in Kadina won one of the major prizes from our tickets last year so it is possible! We have struggled with fundraising this year due to Covid-19 so would love to sell as many tickets as possible! All money from all tickets sold comes directly back to us to purchase resources for the Preschool children. Click on the link to purchase your tickets.

20.01.2022 From 7 Aug 2020, it will be mandatory for children attending an early childhood service to be up-to-date with vaccinations. Parents are required to provide appr...oved immunisation records upon enrolment, and at other specific ages throughout the child’s attendance at: childcare centres family day care pre-schools kindergartens early learning centres Early childhood services are also required to keep a copy of all approved immunisation records for the duration a child is enrolled in their service. Retaining immunisation records onsite will enable a faster response time during a vaccine preventable disease outbreak, and help protect vulnerable children. An approved immunisation record is a child’s immunisation history statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR): https://bit.ly/31tPvw9 Check the AIR to see your child’s records, and talk to your immunisation provider to ensure your child is fully immunised. 15.01.2022 What does your child need? If children feel unwell, they should stay home to rest. A sore throat, headache, runny nose, body aches, fever and/or a cough all ...point to the same thing: kids shouldn't be at school. So keep them at home and let them take what they need to feel better (whether that's or ).

03.01.2022 Literacy and Numeracy learning in action over the last 2 weeks. The children were provided with the opportunity to look at a different text type, a house plan, and then draw their own. They then used their plan to draw it on the large box, measuring and comparing pieces of timber to fit their floor plan and considering where they wanted the doorways. Furniture was made and then the house was painted and finally it was ready to play with!

02.01.2022 This week was National Science Week. The children were involved in lots of science experiences where they had to ask questions, predict what would happen, test theories, observe and record.
