03.01.2022 The Iluka Resources Narngulu mineral separation plant in the Mid-West is one of the largest mineral separation facilities globally. The plant produces finished ...products of zircon, rutile and ilmenite which are exported to global markets from the Port of Geraldton. Maicon Engineering were recently engaged to complete the upgrade of critical production infrastructure including the fabrication and installation of a new conveyor gallery. The project had considerably tight time frames due to the clients operational constraints. Maicon were able to the deliver the project 10 days ahead of schedule, on budget and with no injuries. This was achieved through thorough and sound Project Management, compliance and adherence to Australian Standards and Iluka Technical Standards, strong supervision and work ethic and overall ability of the team. Well done to all involved.
