25.01.2022 What is Kahuna massage - How do we differentiate Kahuna from other forms of massage - Kahuna demands an explanation to allow people to fully understand its unique wonderment and full essence.... Kahunas Movement and motion flows over your body drawing from the sensing and knowing the experience of ones own body. Kahuna massage draws from the sensing and knowing the experience of our own body history and the knowing of how we would serve our own body compassionately and without judgement. We thus serve that of the other with motion mirrored with the same compassion and no judgement that we now own through our own history and experiences. - THERESIA

06.01.2022 My article which can be found in the February Holistic Bliss edition. Pick up a copy from us or get it online. This Thing Called Life Life i...s a process that begins as a single cell, culminating with our last breath. Between these two events is this thing called life. From its first stirrings were moving towards the inevitable conclusion with no time to waste. The older I get the clearer this realisation becomes. When I was younger I thought only other people got old and Im going to always be young, Ive got heaps of time, then all of a sudden whoops, here I am at 60 plus! Too many years behind me caring too much of the opinions of others, desperately trying to fit in with pop culture (hopeless!). In retrospect I was on autopilota bit like driving somewhere, arriving then realising theres no memory of making the journey. The good news is, while theres still breath theres opportunities for change, it really is never too late. The mind shapes our life experiencesyour experience is different from mine, even though were experiencing the same event. Its like looking through a lens, you see it as blue, I see it as red but the event is just that, an event, the only difference being perspective. Understanding this gives one the freedom and power to change life by observing the motion created by your perspective, its action and its effects. The body and mind is inseparable, theres no this is my body and this is my mind and I cant figure out why my body hurts or why it doesnt do what I want it to do. The body is your mind and your mind is your body. The mind initiates motion that creates situations leading to effects expressed in the body. If the body hurts, is suffering or deteriorating, quietly turn your attention to your movement patterns, how they affect your well being and be open to the processes of change. A simple step to begin with is refining the movement of your joints by lying on the floor and gently flexing and extending different body parts. Begin at your feet and move up your body. Dont force the movements, youre not exercising, youre getting to know your body and its range of motion. Theres no definitive wrong or right way, just find the most comfortable and effortless way to move your body and be flexible in your mind to change. The rigidity of wrong and right is expressed in the body through stiff joints and hardened arteries. Were our greatest teacher, learning most effectively through experience. If we want it, this thing called life can be an empowered adventure of learning and changing to realise our greatest potential See more

03.01.2022 September article in Holistic Bliss magazine. Bare Foot Living Were earthlings connected to the great mother through our feet, drawing upon her abundant suppl...y of free electrons for growth and vibrant health. Free electrons are used to charge our cellular batteries and re-ignite the self healing intelligence of our body through a resilient and cohesive nervous system. Walking barefoot on the earth not only balances our electrical potential, it also offers an opportunity to establish a more efficient and effortless gait. The 26 bones and 33 joints we have in each foot is a remarkable feat of evolutionary engineering designed to carry our weight safely over a variety of terrain while maintaining a two legged upright posture. I think of the segments of a caterpillar when I picture the mechanics of my feet, the undulating joints encompassing rocks and uneven surfaces, moving my body safely and effortlessly. To have none or very little raw physical connection to earths surface disconnects and insulates us from an unlimited energy source and restricts free movement in our feet and body. When our fabulous 26 bones and 33 joints can no longer freely articulate, the scene is set for future foot problems like plantar fasciitis, dropped arches, bursitis, spurs, arthritis, extending upwards to knees, hips and spine. The universal principle form follows function can be seen in the way our feet become shaped by how we use them. Ive noticed how feet very rarely in shoes spread, become wider and longer, the toes open and flexible and shoe wearing feet become narrow, stiff and super sensitive. Walking barefoot, even on flat carpeted surfaces becomes a painful event and a walk outside on the grass isnt a pleasant experience. If your feet are super sensitive, start by walking barefoot on the beach, walk in the water and sense the temperature, texture of the sand, and the feel of wind and sun on your skin. Stay in your body. Turn off the music, take off your headphones and be totally present in your body. Youre sensing your life. Meridian point Kidney 1 on the soles of your feet and the urinary bladder line running up the back of your legs are ideally placed as conductors of electricity for when your feet are walking naked upon the earth. Barefoot living develops a greater sensitivity to your internal environment through sensory exposure of your body to a variety of movement and environmental situations. Our precious feet are a portal for developing a close awareness of us connected to our piece of ground, our continent, our ocean, our planet, our solar system, our galaxy and our universe. See more
