22.01.2022 We’ve been thinking, how can we not invite all the amazing people we’ve met this past year and a half to celebrate our engagement with us... so we thought of a way we can do this! Our last public gig for the year will be in the giant bird cage at our favourite bar, Doms at Penrith Panthers on the 11th of December from 8:30pm We’d sooo love for you to come and sing a long to some songs, catch up, not only celebrate our engagement but celebrate you guys as well and have an all ...round good night! We’ll play all the special songs from your wedding or that you’ve requested (if Panthers is where we met you!) Since coming back in September every performance has been amazing, the room is singing along, hours of requests and smiles. We’ve met so many wonderful people and we’d love to share that time again! This invitation is to our couples, friends, FAMILY (you guys too!), people we’ve met at panthers gigs, vendors or new couples! 19.01.2022 Why Kahuna for your wedding? - Having a live duo that has a unique sound is a sure way to set your big day apart from everyone elses! - There are a lot of great duos out there but what makes us different is our combination of instruments and arrangement of songs ... - There aren’t currently many established piano and guitar duos like us and not many in which both members of the duo sing lead or even sing together in harmony - This makes a massive difference as whilst having a single voice carry a song is undoubtedly beautiful, adding a blend of two different vocal tones brings a whole other range dynamics to the music being performed - Having piano sounds at your wedding adds a touch of classic elegance This sound embellished with guitar makes for a luxurious atmosphere - The great thing about having duo with 2 instruments is that we are able to then strip the sound back - We are not a typical, play the song as it was recorded by the artist style of duo. We are both creatives and have our own sound and take on each song we play. We make it our own and by doing so make each song unique to your day! - We have found that a lot of special moment songs that we are asked to learn are unique arrangmemts by artists that are totally different to the original and this is something you can expect from us! 02.01.2022 HUMAN NATURE COVER We’ve had to crop this video as a plane went through a good portion of the middle, but we really wanted you to see the start and end The beginning is a loop created by Moz on the acoustic, the piano is brought in and the singing starts! ... There are lots of layers and little melodies in this loop which are then accompanied and accentuated by the electric guitar We normally play this type of song during the canapés hour as it’s upbeat liveliness expresses the excitement two people in love share after just being married!
