22.01.2022 Each Christmas, Brisbane Youth Service distributes hampers to young people aged 12-25 (and their children) at risk or experiencing homelessness . We rely sol...ely on donations to provide these hampers which are filled with non-perishable items and festive treats . Help spread some Christmas cheer to a young person doing it tough. 20.01.2022 Apologies for the late update Family. I barely realised that another super busy hectic month had passed! Throughout November we were pressed for orders, so- thank you so much . Also, throughout November we came across the heartbreaking story of a courageous boy named Jayden. Jayden suffers with Scoliosis which has curved his spine to a 73 degree angle leaving part of his rib cage up on his shoulder blade He has to undergo high risk spinal surgery in order to fix this. Th...e surgery consists of doctors breaking his back and putting it back together with screws; not to mention this surgery is completed all while he is upside down . Jayden is raised by a single mother who has had to sacrifice countless jobs which has had a major financial strain on being able to cater to his recovery needs . Funds raised on all grazing boxes sold throughout the month of November will be donated to Jayden’s recovery fund. If you can donate anything extra towards the recovery fund, I’m sure Jayden’s family would be super grateful . 18.01.2022 Education is key, knowledge is wealth . We were taught that it’s no ones job to judge others, period. Today, we teach our children acceptance, not ignorance- on all issues. . We stand in solidarity with our identifying family members and the entire LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy Community.... 02.01.2022 It was our pleasure to cater for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Johnson- Thank you for trusting us with the catering for your special day . The gorgeous bride & groom requested no pork products so, amongst the usual fresh fruit, cheeses and crackers, were smoked wagyu beef strips, roasted turkey slices and double-smoked chicken breast . And then- mini grazing boards for the bridal table. I mean, could you get any cuter? ... . These aren’t the best pics, some were behind the scenes, but here’s a glimpse of our work- 4 of the usual 1.2 metre boards and 5 mini boards .
