16.01.2022 I totally had dread envy yesterday, and it made me realise how much i miss my long dreads! I have been maintaining Amber's dreads on/off for years now (her dreads were not originally created by me). They hadn't been maintained for some time and started to mat together in most places. It was like surgery trying to find what hair belonged to which section! thanks for sitting still and enduring the pain. It was great to catch up!

14.01.2022 NEW PRICE CHANGE 2020 As a full time student, i know first hand how financially challenging it can be at times. So, from now on, i will be offering full time school aged and University students, and Pensioners (over 67 years of age) a discounted price of $40/hr for any dread creation and maintenance service. Student ID cards and pensioner cards need to be shown to myself to receive this discounted price. Hope this helps :) ... 13.01.2022 Jason came to me wanting a completely new look and thats what he got Jason had organised the dread extensions (real human hair) to be made prior to his appointment (made by Dreadshop, which saved alot of time and money for him for the install. I have to say the extensions were amasing to work with. (Not affiliated, just impressed with the quality). Overall, Jason was in the chair for 3hrs for his transformation.

They had quite a few blow outs (they are still a work in progress to remove most of them) and hadn't been maintained for around 4 months. 3.5 hours later, and the end result looks great! 07.01.2022 Raul had been growing his hair for some time, and today was the day. It took 3.5hrs to make Rauls dreads. He has quite thick hair and it was at the perfect length to dread. A common question i often get asked is how much length will i lose? On average, only 1-2cm as the back combing method i have been trained in minimises loss of length. It was a pleasure Raul, they look great on you!! (If i can say so myself)

06.01.2022 Emma has been seeing me for about a year now. She is slowly working on getting more and more dreads ;) Emma decided to make her own (they looked great) wool extensions to add to 14 newly created dreadlocks using her undercuts regrowth. Loving the colours and creativity! This install took 2.5hrs.

01.01.2022 As most of you are aware, a week ago i decided to cut my beloved 5yr old dreadies off. It was a decision that was not made lightly. Dread locks were an important part of my life, boosting my confidence and giving me a look different to others. But like anything, we grow. Do not fear, it hasnt affected my touch with a crochet hook. I still welcome you to shoot me a pm if your ever in/around the sunshine coast area (im based in tewantin, noosa) if your in need of a quick tidy up or to start your dreadlock journey. If your needing advice on anything to do with dreads, i'd be happy to help out.
