25.01.2022 Happy new year! Most of you have heard the news that Kaisei Ryu Jujitsu will now be opening in Avalon. We now have a full time facility to train out of above Woolworths. It’s been a busy 6 weeks but the new mats are finally down. Pacheco Jiu-Jitsu will also be opening up and training out of there in the coming weeks. Pacheco Brazilian jiu-jitsu will be a great opportunity for current students to cross train as well as bringing in new students . Pacheco Jiu-Jitsu will be focus...ing more on competition grappling and all ages are welcome. There is still a bit of work to be done but the mats are down so it’s time to train! Obviously with the change of venue there is going to be more people training and the inquiries have been massive which is a great sign. As with any venture like this there is going to be some teething problems so your patience and understanding will be much appreciated in getting new systems in place and running smoothly. For the next 2 weeks training will only be for current students and new memberships will commence from the 17th of February. The reason for this is to hopefully overcome any problems which may arise with a influx of students. The time table is still a work in progress and will be finalised when the BJJ classes start. 5-9yr olds 4-4:45pm 10-13yr olds 5-6pm 14yr olds and above 7-8:30 Tuesday Wednesday Thursday These class times seem to be what works for the majority and have been set according to the feedback I received but maybe tweaked in the future . Jujitsu training will eventually be on six days a week ! The venue will be known as the PENINSULA MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY and will be a great addition to the local area. All family , friends and junior club members are welcome to come down and support. The boys have shown great dedication to their training and are ready to become Kaisei Ryu Jujitsu’s newest shodans. 04.01.2022 Happy New Year ! I hope everyone has had a good break. Classes for adults start back on Tuesday the 22nd. Kids classes start back on Tuesday the 29th of January. Kids starting times have moved forward 15mins on Tuesdays. Times are as follows 5-9yrs 5:45-6:30pm tues & thurs 10-14yrs 6:30-7:30pm tues & thurs... Adults 7:30 - 9pm tues & thurs It would be much appreciated if term 4 fees could be sorted out before then . Last year was a pretty big year with adult gradings ,finishing with 8 students changing belts , if all goes to plan we will be potentially grading some students to their black belts this year.
