17.01.2022 Today's job was to replace an evaporator in a Toyota Corolla. Of course Toyota put it right at the bottom under the entire dash.

16.01.2022 I have done some testing of some new prototype lighting I have been working on. Both pics are of the same light body. The yellow one is drawing 8.3 amps the white one is only drawing 2.6amps.

15.01.2022 I was at a garage sale this weekend and found the coolest old tool box I have ever seen. A Rota mechanics tool chest. Old school quality. It's hard to find this kind of quality in any thing available today. Needless to say it has a new home with me now.

13.01.2022 Worked on a very neat and tidy 100 series landcruiser today. Kings LED driving lights, I made a custom harness with A factory style switch. Pioneer touch screen head with reversing camera. A tidy job for a tidy truck.

12.01.2022 Made and installed a water cannon controller today. It had been running with 2 dodgy rocker switches and a busted box. The owner is stoked.

11.01.2022 Added an awning to the ute, it is great to have a bit of shade while working out on site.

11.01.2022 A busy week so far this week after a 2 week holiday. I have worked on a 1975 motor bike, rewired a box trailer, repaired the anderson plug on a camper trailer, fitted brake controllers to a pair of week old Prado Kakado's, fixed an oil leak and gear box problem on a farm tractor, fitted a new alternator to a posi trac, diagnosed an oil leak on an excavator and diagnosed a fuel issue on a back hoe. Still got to repair power windows on a ute and fit a light bar , aswell as fit a brake controller to an ix35. It good to be busy. Love it.

08.01.2022 The result of a badly cut zip tie. This is one of my pet hates. The tie on the yellow pipe is the culprit of this scratch. The black pipe tie is the standard Simply Works zip tie cut. This cut was done with the right tool and a commitment to quality of work with pride.

08.01.2022 Simply Works to the rescue again today. Battery cable on a small truck shorted to the chassis and lost all power to the truck. Lucky it didn't set the truck on fire. I got him going on the side of the highway.

08.01.2022 A/C not blowing this could be the reason. I now know the inside of a Kabota excavator cab intimately. 7hrs to dig the evaporator out clean it, refit and recharge the system. To go from no A/C at all to 5deg vent temp. Not a bad day.
