A big Thank you to our regular donors, BRMC team and Salvation Army volunteers who bring fresh vegetables and fruit every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to the Ballarat Welcome Centre. Fresh food deliveries go out every week through a contactless delivery service to households in financial hardship and isolation. 16.01.2022 Kaithangu- Helping Hands BKFA celebrated the harvest festival ONAM with the coastal area people of Anchuthengu- who lost their houses in the recent calamity and facing a tough time during the pandemic. Kaithangu raised $3471.24 to support 184 families to buy grocery kit worth INR 1000 to each family. Thank you to all the Kaithangu supporters who donated to this appeal

15.01.2022 Year 9 student, Ann Chalakkal was part of the Loreto Ballarat team that competed recently in the 2020 Australasian Philosothon, placing an impressive 8th place ...out of 20 schools in Australasia and becoming the top Victorian team. Finnley Greet was nominated for the Most Promising Philosopher Award and Ann Chalakkal placed second out of the 40 students in her age category. This week Ann received her badge for 2nd place in the under 14 age group from Principal, Michelle Brodrick and proud leader of the group, Mr Peter Foord. Congratulations Ann!
