Below are a few tips to help you if you find yourself in this situation: ~ 1 - Go back to basics - Find the root cause, have your expenses increased more than normal, are you not making as much sales as last month. When you know the root cause you can fix it 2 - Do you have overdue invoices- Go through your invoices and if any are overdue give the client a gentle reminder to pay th...eir outstanding invoice 3 - Talk to your bank - in some instances your bank may be able to provide you a temporary arrangement so you can pay your wages - providing the business is profitable 4 - Call up some of your large expenses for the month and see if you can reduce the amount or pause it for a month 5 - If your staff are freelancers - reduce their hours for a week or two to give you some financial breathing space The way to help this for future is to plan ahead as much as possible. If you don’t know how, ask for help. If you are finding yourself in a particularly stressful financial situation month after month, invest in a finance coach, talk to your bank or ask for help. It may seem counter intuitive, investing in financial help when you have limited resources. However when you have a tooth ache you go to the dentist, not to your hairdresser. 07.01.2022 This is me now, 6 months before my 30th. Living with @tomf3091 in Indonesia Had a lot of struggles last few years, that has propelled me to this place today and I'm very thankful for that. I am an incredibly optimistic person and for every negative experience I face I find the positive lesson from it.... Many people say I'm lucky to live this life, I'm not, I work really really really hard to get it. 06.01.2022 I'm going to compare business with exploring an island - in this case the beautiful Nusa Lembongan. We spent the day exploring all the different roads, clifftops, beaches and scenery we had never seen before. Equally we were confronted with many potholes, a scooter that died when we tried to take it up the steepest hill i have ever seen and cuts and scratches. ... After a whirlwind day of literally ups and downs, we came across this beautiful spot that was filled with puppies, laughing locals and the most glorious sunset. That's the funny thing about business, through all your never ending ups and downs, at the end of the day, there is still laughter, love and with the sun setting, a promise of another day. So when you find yourself down and out and focusing on all the negatives of your current journey, take a moment to focus and be grateful for all the positives.
