24.01.2022 I have been working on a cup cake range for Kakes By Karen and was inspired to create 100% edible labels using Deco Magic Original Magic. I created a sheet of Metallic White fabric/leaf which I put through my food grade printer to print the writing on. Once the ink was dry, I covered the back of the A4 sheet of fabric/leaf with white chocolate. I left this to set then cut each label with a scalpel and a ruler to creat metallic label shards. This creates a talking point for my... cup cakes as well as naming each cake so people know what they are. How could you use Deco Magic with your food grade printer? 23.01.2022 Yes I am still doing the odd cake here & there, so if you need something just contact me & I will see if I can fit it in. This cake was on the weekend for customers I have had for over 8 years. This was for there daughter Emma. I hope you had a lovely day Emma. The giraffe & lion are made from fondant. The cake is 3 layers of light chocolate cake with 2 layers of Italian Buttercream. The overall covering is chocolate ganache, stencilled green vines with icing characters placed around. Cheers Karen.
