He has a busy evening planned, hes preparing a lovely home cooked meal for his elderly mother and then will host a video conference with world leaders as an advocate for world peace and to combat poverty. 20.01.2022 We're planning a big facelift inside and out to take place (hopefully) in October, with a new menu and a bit of bling! After which we will recommence trading fulltime. This week, we have a family wedding to attend and are putting together some preliminary plans for the renovation, subsequently Kakkadoo Kafe will be closed this week and re-open on Wednesday 30th September. Fruit & Veg pickup will be at the butcher shop this week, you can make your order as usual, just collect... it from S&S Meats. We will still be making pies for The Fast Lane in Dubbo, so travellers wanting their bulk supply of cold pies can still make your usual orders also.

13.01.2022 Heres a shout out from Kakkadoo Kafe for Kye. Kye has worked for us for a few years now and would normally be our weekend pie maker. He and one offsider would usually churn out about 500 pies in 3-4 hours on a Saturday morning. Sadly we cant currently sell that many pies on a weekend so we havent been able to give him his normal shift. But we give him a pat on the back for having a go himself. Good onya Kye!... Kakkadoo Kafe offers this post as a work and character reference for Kye and vouch here and now for his ability and performance.

08.01.2022 Changes to fruit and veg ordering. As trade begins to pick up for both Kakkadoo Kafe & Mudgee Fresh Produce, weve found it necessary to simplify the system.... Over the coming weeks, we are changing the ordering process. From now on you can order and pay directly through the Mid-Western Fresh Produce Online store. https://midwestfresh.myshopify.com Kakkadoo Kafe will continue to serve as a pick-up point and Thursdays will remain the pick up day. Just input Kakkadoo Kafe into the shipping address, the billing address should be your own. No need to panic, we expect the transition to take a few weeks, so you can continue as normal until youre ready. We are happy to help if you require any assistance to get set up.
