24.01.2022 West Coast Swing Dance Classes start at the club next Monday! This style of dancing is easy to learn so no experience is required and beginners are welcome. Come along and enjoy the music, meet new people and get fitter in the process. Bar opens at 6.30 with dancing commencing at 7.00. A more advanced class follows at 8.00pm. These classes are really good fun and the first introductory night is FREE!

23.01.2022 Last night the club was filled with West Coast Swing (beginner) dancers. Everyone had a great time and even those with two left feet managed to make their way around the dance floor..thanks to Cindy and Adam. These classes will continue each Monday night at 7pm and don't forget your first class is free ($10 thereafter). Good fun!!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to our Single Championship winners 2020. Jan Negri took our the Ladies title again for the 6th time just beating Birthe Rasmussen in a very well played game. Dwayne Wooltorton was this years Mens champion beating Wayne Olive in one of the best closest finals games which came down to the very last bowl of the day. Both are very worthy winners.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Dwayne Wooltorton our 2020 Mens Single Champion and well played to Wayne Olive who was pipped at the post 25/24. It was a fantastic display of lawn bowls with both men playing brilliant bowls. Spectators were on the edge of their seats!

22.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the latest directives from our Federal and State Government our Club will be closed indefinitely from 12pm today. "The federal and state governments have ordered clubs, pubs, churches and cinemas to close in a bid to limit the spread of the coronavirus." To all our members, please take care and stay safe during these difficult times.

18.01.2022 Well done to the Kalamunda Club on kickstarting the new lawn bowls season at their Bowls Carnival this past Sunday. I was honoured to declare the 'Roy Walker Gr...een' open - named after one of the Clubs most dedicated members and made possible with the help of funds from the Morrison Government. In this challenging year, it was good to join with Liam Staltari - Liberal for Kalamunda to see local residents honouring those who give so much back to our community.

16.01.2022 Kalamunda Club will trial opening for dine-in meals on Wednesday nights (Roast) and Friday nights (meal specials) commencing on 20th May. We will have two sessions per night as we can only accommodate a maximum of 20 people at any given time as per the latest Government restrictions regarding the Covid-19 Virus. Sessions : * 5.15pm - 6.45pm * 7.00pm - 9.00pm Bookings are essential (9293 4946) and must be confirmed by the Club. Also please note that we are re...quired to keep a register of all attendees. We are unable to serve alcoholic beverages to anyone not having a sit down meal and will also be providing full table service for both food and drinks. All of our staff and volunteers have undertaken the mandatory Government hygiene training to allow us to provide the safest environment during this difficult time. We can't wait to see as many of you as possible and appreciate your patience whilst we have been closed. So don't forget to book and come along to enjoy some good food and company whilst following the social distancing rules.

10.01.2022 Melbourne Cup at the Kalamunda Club. Thank you to the Staff and the Volunteers for helping set up for Melbourne Cup - there is a lot of work that goes into making these Event SUCCESSFUL. Everyone looked Fantastic and I hope you all enjoyed the day with good friends, nice food, had lots of laughs and many Drinks. We are looking forward to sharing more Events at the Kalamunda Club. Santa was a huge hit with the kids and adults alike and the only problem with the bouncy castle was getting the little ones out of it at the end of the night!

Both teams will play off next week for their respective flags...we wish them well and hope they can bring home the Pennants Both will now be promoted so next year we will field a 1st Division and a 2nd Division team- well done to All our lady bowlers

08.01.2022 Well done to the Ladies who played off in the club Singles Championship/Plate today. We had two terrific games - congratulations to Jan Negri who was our Ladies Champion again this year. Jan came from behind to take the win over Birthe Rasmussen in a tightly fought contest. Also congratulations to Jeanette Fulton who managed to get the best of Judi Smailes in the Plate. Well played Ladies.

04.01.2022 Huge congratulations to our club member Peter Pewsey who won TWO GOLD!! medals during the All Abilities State Championships. Peter won both the Singles and the Doubles and we are extremely proud of him. Well done to all participants

04.01.2022 As from Saturday 6th June we will be open for regular trading hours!! This has seemed a long time coming and we are really excited to welcome back our club and community members. PLEASE GET ALONG AND SUPPORT YOUR CLUB AS WE NEED TO GET UP AND RUNNING AGAIN. This also means that some of our activities can now resume and to celebrate this we will be commencing Saturday Winter Pairs Bowling this coming Saturday. Anyone is welcome and we hope to see as many of you as possible ... so grab a partner and put your name down for a game of bowls. Our other regular bowling events will follow and for more details please don't hesitate to contact the club. These include Wednesday Day Social Bowls, Wednesday Night Social Bowls, Thursday Pairs, Friday Night Social Bowls, Saturday Pairs and Scroungers on Sunday mornings. Of course we all still have a responsibility to look after each other and do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and future outbreaks. All members and guests are required to observe the following procedures at all times: - If you are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms, please DO NOT attend the club; - Leave furniture where it is positioned and observe the 2sqm rule - Maintain high levels of personal hygiene by washing hands regularly and using the hand sanitiser provided; --- It is now a requirement to be seated whilst drinking alcohol;

03.01.2022 Yesterday we officially opened our new B Green with our inaugural Classic Carnival. Prior to the bowling getting underway, Ken Wyatt MP, declared the 'Roy Walker Green' open. Roy has worked tirelessly on this green and was instrumental in writing the initial submission for a Morrison Government grant which we were lucky enough to receive. He then acted as Project Manager and with the help of some other club members has provided our Club with a wonderful new asset. Truly a ...worthy recipient of the honour of having the green named for him. Well done Roy and thank you. Having two terrific greens allowed us to kick start the 2020/21 bowling season off with our Carnival which was well attended by 128 bowlers. Thank you to all involved in the organisation and running of what was a wonderful day- even the torrential rain didn't deter the enthusiastic competition or detract from the excellent quality of bowling that we were treated to. Well played everyone. Congratulations to the winning teams and a particular thank you to the main sponsor of the day, club member, Ken Robertson.
