19.01.2022 The City of Kalamunda has been working hard to develop the Citys Master Plan in response to Public Art. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, community consultation has been adapted to ensure we are able to still reach community who would like to have their say, in a safe way. As a result, please see the below link to both the Public Art Survey as well as a registration portal for the online community workshop which is scheduled for Wednesday 27 May from 10.30 11.30am. We would l...ove you to participate and engage in this process as well as forward the information to any who may be interested in public art in our community. https://engage.kalamunda.wa.gov.au/public-art

08.01.2022 WA CONNECT | This week, we partnered with CircuitWest to bring 8 regional presenters to the Creative Hub to meet with our cohort of artists and producers to dis...cuss the challenges of our current situation and how we might be able to move forward together. Facilitated by Annette Carmichael, the sessions and small-group discussions generated lots of ideas and provocations on both sides, which provided an informed context for developing new creative projects and opening potential new partnership between venues and performance-makers. "I just wanted to say thank you for organising the event at Subiaco. It was a great way to chat with the artists and other venues about the issues we all face and where we go to from here." shared Justin Friend, from Cummins Theatre . . With ARtS Narrogin, Harvey Recreation & Cultural Centre, Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema, Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre, City of Gosnells - Don Russell Performing Arts Centre, Cummins Theatre and Guy Boyce. . . . #creativeproducers #supportindies #westernaustralianartists #waartists #performingartsaustralia #independentartists #artistscreativehub #perflineswa #plwacreativehub #plwacreativelab .
