20.01.2022 KALAMUNDA Pre-Kindy will be taking a break this term while we all stay safe. Unfortunately we are no longer able to use Spring Road for our Pre-Kindy, so I will use this time to find a new premises, with the hope of re-opening in Term 3. We would like to thank all Of our families for their understanding and compassion during this time. Your kindness has been overwhelming! ... We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff and committee members at Spring Road Community Kindergarten for having us this past year. 19.01.2022 Looking for something to do with your little one this term?! Our Play and Learn sessions are opening up at Glen Forrest Community Kindergarten for a four week block on Mondays! Each week children will participate in a developmentally appropriate learning experience with the use of stories, songs and hands on activities aimed at developing and nurturing each child's abilities in all developmental areas.... Parents will participate in the sessions, creating a lovely shared experience. Each session will be planned and run by an experienced early childhood teacher, ensuring each child's experience is valuable and enriching. So if you're looking for a great experience to share with your little one, (or know someone else that is!) get in touch and secure your place now!

15.01.2022 So today we took part in ‘Superboss’ day to help raise funds and awareness for HeartKids. This is a charity close to our hearts, as it is one that has directly helped one of our beautiful students. We all dressed in up as super hero costumes and brought our super powers to Kindy for the day! It was super fun....and there was lots of glitter! For more information on this charity

To show my support of our local businesses, I’m going to do a few shout outs over the next few days for some local businesses that I know, have used and can personally recommend. Here’s a shout out to one of the amazing local businesses we have in our community....... Chelsea Decor is a family owned business (owned by some fabulous friends of mine). Their service is top notch...they’re knowledgeable, reliable, punctual and professional and damn nice people to top it off. Chelsea Decor are the people to see for all your curtains, window coverings and soft furnishings. They have a massive range and creative, knowledgeable staff to help you make those difficult design decisions! I know everyone is tightening their purse strings at the moment, but you can help out by just sharing their page or recommending them to friends and family. 04.01.2022 Kalamunda Pre-Kindy is committed to creating a sustainable environment. Along with Spring Road Community Kindergarten, we are selling these gorgeous Wet bags. With all our little ones going off to big school next year, these will make a great addition to your Kindy supplies. Pop them In your child’s bag for their spare clothes, use them for swimming lessons or take them along to the beach! A much more sustainable option than those dreaded plastic bags! Also a great i...dea for my new Pre-Kindy kids to have in their school bags for those little accidents, and water play! These bags are a great size and can be used over and over again. They cost $20 each, and orders need to be in this week. Please contact me directly if you would like to Purchase one!
