Gold Sponsors are BP Urunga, Cardows Real Estate, The OVH, and Coastal Line Marking Silver Sponsors are The Washing Well, Raleigh Winery, North Coast Boating Centre and Coffs Coast traffic Control. Our partners are Urunga Chamber of Commerce, Titivators Dragon Boat Club, Urunga Lions Club and Bellingen Shire Council. Thank you to you all

22.01.2022 Great publicity for our event. Well done us.

21.01.2022 Well I think we all agree that that was a very successful event, especially for the first one. Feedback is that competitors loved the river and the type of event, and they loved the community involvement- people watching from the river banks and clapping as they went past. Good Urunga hospitality and good fun for our town. A big thanks to Beth Spriggs and Lois Doyle and the Titivators, who handled the logistics on the day, the trophies and tents and so much more, and the equally amazing Jo Brotherton and the Lions, who seems to know everyone and doesn't sleep. Hopefully we can do it again next year.

20.01.2022 Thanks so much to Sawtell Life savers for this safety boat

20.01.2022 From this to this, thank you again Bellingen Council. Now just fingers crossed for the weather. The only thing that will stop us is an electrical storm. Rain doesn't matter, paddling is a water sport, (and so is watching paddling). See you on the water. Sunday 9am and at vantage points around the island.

20.01.2022 Here are some really nice shots from Liz McGinnes Photography

15.01.2022 What a magic event the inaugural Kalang River Classic was today. A lot of hard work by many but really big hurrah to my Bruce Miller and the team, who did such an amazing job of organising this ... and thank you to our own local and wonderful photographer Peter Lister who did these fantastic shots.

10.01.2022 Some more shots from James Lander
