23.01.2022 WE DID IT Kalbar State School’s Inaugural Trail Ride was a success, 465 riders! Now the dust has settled we would like to take the time and thank all the riders who made the trip out to Tarome and supported our Event. Thank you to the property owners for the use of your property and all the work you did getting it ready for the ride: the ambulance access around the paddock - which thankfully we didn’t need to use, creek crossings, preparing the carpark and common area. Witho...ut a property on which to hold the ride, this event wouldn’t have happened. We are very grateful to have the support of our fantastic sponsors Dalby Moto, Bendigo bank Kalbar & Boonah, Mitre10 Boonah, Kalbar & Lowood, Gatton Power Sports, The Butcher Co Boonah & Kalbar, Ants Fruit Market and Thor Demolition. As well as offsetting the costs of the event they also provided incentives for riders to attend with the prizes we were able to give away at riders briefing. The volunteers - the list is long. As this was our first event, we had a huge amount of help and guidance from Michael, Karolla and Mitchell Harvey From track preparations to staging the event. With help from these guys the event ran smoothly. The sweep riders amazing work, Christine Stephan our Fundraising lady and her support group for all the organising and recruiting, our School teachers and staff Angela Chant our Principle, Daniele Muir, Kerrilee Ward, Dave Faulkner, Tracey Smith, Karen Turner, Keely Beutel, Bev Wigginton and Philip Pennell along with the parents that helped with sign on, car parking, gate monitoring, toilet monitor, setting up and packing up, the catering crew. This is a true testament to what a great school our children attend. Also thank you to HEST Paramedical. Thank you to everybody for an Awesome Day. We really hope you enjoyed the tracks and the scenery. To the few people and bikes that came to grief we hope your recovery is swift and your back on a bike soon.
