25.01.2022 Repost. I’m just watching this David Attenborough doco right now on giraffes. Did you know that giraffes are going extinct faster than elephants? Well, not extinct faster, but there are only 90,000 left in the world. There are half a mil elephants which we all know are endangered. I just wanted to post some giraffe awareness. 24.01.2022 I painted some cats as a commission for my friend who is a crazy cat lady. It was a surprisingly fun project for a self proclaimed dog enthusiast. 15.01.2022 Ahh what an awesome day It’s projects like this that would have made 9 year old me give the vertical thumb. @stacka20 and Rob’s little freshie Kai loves trees, and apparently hopefully waves. So that was their directive. I designed it on my iPad. Transferred it to the wall with the projector... Ate some flat noodles, and a large amount of lollies 1.5 wines, 1 beer Wore an outfit that I shouldn’t have documented myself in. Had lots of laughs, We got 17 on the quiz 12ish hours of painting later and Kai’s tree is now materialised. A Saturday well spent. And now... for absolutely nothing today We also did a time lapse. 14.01.2022 His name was George Floyd. He was the suspect of a non-violent crime. He did not resist arrest, he was an innocent man who plead for his breath as the uniformed white guys crushed the air out of his body for 9 minutes. This shit is so brutal! It makes me so fucking sad. I don’t know what more I can do but draw a little picture, put it in a square and write some words saying that cop belongs in jail. Because the example needs to be set that there are consequences for murdering... an innocent person, no matter what their skin looks like.
