09.01.2022 just an update on our EP...yes, it's coming! We have taken our time with it..been in the works for a while but working on it as time etc allows and it's sounding great, so definitley before the year is out...for sure :)

09.01.2022 What a wonderful, passionately expressive rehearsal we had yesterday, running a couple of classic new covers we've been working on recently, as well as jamming on some new Original Tunes by Juli Auriane ...just wait for the 3rd song in... written just this week ;-) "Struttin' Like a Peacock (no you don't)" - it's all funk-rock fusion and sass!! 08.01.2022 <3 We have our guitarist back from her lovely overseas trip and caught up yesterday for the most amazingly fun and delicious rehearsal and completely original jam!! Here's the "Behind the Scenes" footage, featuring all original songs 'Reflections', 'Baby Let's Groove', new trance groove 'Pennies', and a very special off the cuff free jazz moment that was absolute magic!!! 8| ;-) ...this just might be our favourite "Behind the Scenes" video yet!! 05.01.2022 what a fabulous day we had on the Cairns Esplanade by the lagoon today. Beautiful weather and got to play tunes poolside to everyone swimming and sunning themselves. Life can be pretty magic in the tropics :)

01.01.2022 it's been a little while since Kalen-ja has performed live, been on a hiatus for few months while guitarist Hiroe & bassist Aleta have been overseas etc..but we are really looking forward to getting back out there again. We will be performing again at the annual Recognition Day concert held at TAFE Ampitheatre on 26th May.
