12.01.2022 Saxophone! What's better than 1 sax player? 100 + sax players!! What's better than that? An event where you can play, meet, eat and try saxes. Perhaps you shoul...dn't eat the saxes... 27th August: the 2017 Massed Sax Event starting at 1pm featuring warmups, rehearsals, workshops, interviews and performances and our special guests: Rob Buckland and George Garzone. To be a participant, all you need to do is to be playing for at least 2 years and register before 18th August at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/massed-sax-project-2017-tic BUT there's more!!! If you'd prefer not to participate in the playing side of things, from about 2pm, you can check out the biggest collection of saxophones, accessories & books in one place in WA, share a coffee and a snack. Then (yep, still more...) from 4.30, the 'Vasse Felix' bar opens and lighter and more substantial meals will be available until the massed sax concert at 7pm. For non-playing participants, the afternoon is there for you for free.
