18.01.2022 With the WA State Basketball League season just a week away, your Northern Star Resources Goldfields Giants are opening up their training sessions to the public... today. Trainings for the SBL Men and Division 1 Women are happening this morning down at the Niels Hansen Basketball Stadium from 10:30am until about 12:30pm. Come on down and check out your Giants' teams for 2020. You can come down and see the players in action on the court, then meet the players afterwards and get an autograph and selfie with them. 16.01.2022 We’re excited to be playing hosts to the crew from Gold Rush Cheer this Sunday as they put on their Welcome To The Gold Mine - 2017 GRC Showcase. Doors open from 2pm, tickets available either online or at the door and the stadium’s Courtside Cafe will also be open. It’s going to be an exciting afternoon of cheerleading so don’t miss out.

11.01.2022 Stadium Update - 4pm Monday 20th November As the stadium is still without power, we've had to make the call to postpone tonights' Senior Division 3 fixtures. Th...e outcome of these fixtures will be decided upon by the KBBA at a future time once we get power back and get a chance to evaluate it all. The stadium is currently open for trainings until 6:30pm but as teams are starting to cancel them, this may end up being earlier. If you intend on cancelling, please let me know ASAP. Thanks, Travis

It's a free event and they've brought in high level keynote presenters to talk to the Goldfields sporting community. It's a generic session covering all sports and is designed for parents, coaches, athletes and officials, so anyone can get something from it....
