21.01.2022 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month Now is the perfect time to reacquaint yourself with your breasts and do a self-examination (or maybe your partner can help!). It is important to check your breasts every month for any changes to your breast, if you don’t know what you are looking for attached is a simple guide for breast self-examination. Additionally, BreastScreen WA offer women over 40 a free mammogram every two years (please visit their website for more details breastscreen.health.wa.gov.au). If you notice any of the symptoms or have any concerns about your breast health at all please contact your GP

19.01.2022 We have received some more flu vaccinations, it is not too late to vaccinate against Influenza as the flu season extends into Springtime. Children over 10 are eligible for the vaccination, seniors over 65 are eligible for a special vaccine designed to boost the immune system. We can also provide proof of vaccination for work/nursing home etc purposes.

19.01.2022 It‘s important to take care of the machine that is taking care of you. Regular cleaning of your APAP/CPAP Machine and Mask is highly recommended not only for personal hygiene but also to prolong the longevity of your machine and equipment. Filters, hose brushes, mask wipes and disinfectant are all available in store (or can be ordered in). Please refer to your user manual for specific cleaning requirements.

Statistics on Men’s Mental Health show nearly half of men feel like they can’t talk to someone about their concerns. In 2018 of the 3046 registered deaths by suicide, 76% were men (Source ABS 2019). ... Statistics on Men’s Physical Health are just as saddening with men dying on average 4 years earlier than women and with 3 in 5 deaths considered potentially avoidable (Source amhf.org.au).
