KSC is dedicated to giving people with disabilities greater choice, control and freedom empowering them to live life on their own terms. KSC supports people with disabilities by enabling them to realise their personal aspirations and goals. For us, having a disability should never limit the degree of choice and control people have ove...r their own lives, and we work hard to make sure the people we support get a fair go.Assistance with Travel/Transport arrangements:If participants require transportation, Kalunga Supported Care can assist and support participants to maintain their independence and get to those appointments or outings on time. We know that family members and friends can not always be there to help out. Kalunga Supported Care can fill the gap and organise travel/transportation for participants anywhere that they need to without having to rely on others. Many participants require transportation for a range of activities including: Medical Appointments Dental Appointments Following a procedure such as an endoscopy when they have had a light anaesthetic and need monitoring for a short period. Social events and Outings Cinema and Library visits Exercise Classes Assistance with shopping Airport Assistance and Drop Offs Hobbies and Interest groups About Us Kalunga Supported Care (KSC) is a disability services provider based in The Gap Queensland. We service the Ipswich, Brisbane Region, Logan sunshine coast ,Gold coast and Morton bay KSC’s services include: Living and Life Skills such as assisting with financial management, communication skills and lifestyle mentoring; Personal Activities such as housework, laundry, shopping, personal hygiene, dressing, preparation or supply of meals and medication assistance; Community Participation including supported shopping, medical appointments, sporting and recreational events, social activities, visiting or making new friends, travel and transport and building confidence and social skills; Group and Centre-based Activities such as social outings and group and social activities on KSC’s premises; Life Stages and Transitions supporting school leavers and those moving out of home or moving from group to independent living to make the transition on their own terms and in a way that meets their goals and aspirations.
