16.01.2022 TRAVEL & COVID-19 UPDATE NSW: Borders open, no isolation on entry, and travel throughout allowed from 1 June. Currently there are 385 active COVID-19 cases.... VIC: Borders open, no isolation on entry and travel in self-contained vehicles allowed from 1 June. No information on when SC limitation will be lifted. Currently 88 COVID-19 cases. QLD: Borders closed "possibly until September", according to Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk. Intrastate travel up to 250 km from home from 12 June to 10 July (or 500 kms if in the Outback), then full intrastate travel allowed after 10 July. Currently QLD has 12 COVID-19 cases. SA: Borders closed (although entry is possible with 14-day isolation in suitable accommodation) and no date scheduled for border reopening. Premier Steven Marshall stated the borders will open "no time soon, but will likely occur this year." Open for intrastate travel. No active COVID-19 cases WA: Borders closed with no date scheduled for reopening. Intrastate travel will be allowed from 29 May except to the Kimberley and biosecurity areas. Its too quiet and I miss happy hour. :( Ok I miss sharing happy hour lol .Rona hasnt shown her ugly mug in the south west yet but well be ready if she does. Weve taken our cleaning regime next level . So when youre ready /allowed to travel we want you to feel safe here with us knowing we are fully aware and implementing all the QLD Health operating directives. Queenslanders will be able to undertake unlimited travel, ...including overnight stays throughout the entire state, in a major easing of COVID-19 restrictions. More locals will be allowed in cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs, with an increase in the number of patrons from 10 to 20.
