We are Darlene and Steve Cole. After being in the mining industry for 25 years, we are thrilled to be given the opportunity to contribute to an ever growing community. We are strongly focused on creating a vibrant and community based atmosphere. With our previous success in Hotel/Motel management, we believe we can offer the community what they've longed for. 03.01.2022 Gid’day, Greetings, Kia ora, Just a note to let you all know that the pub will not be opened on the day of the Christmas Tree, Saturday, 14th December. This is solely because I am a family person and wish to enjoy the day with the rest of the family community, including my own family. I regret any inconvenience this may cause for the Saturday locals. Joker Jackpot will be a goer the following Saturday 21st and must go. $1100 up for grabs. TIA

Everything has been submitted for the liquor licence transfer and we are now awaiting a response. Once this comes back, we can then work on getting the place stocked up and ready for you to come down and enjoy a nice cold beer. ... We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your submissions on the name change. You've made this harder than we thought it would be. Keep a close eye over the next week to see our final decision. The support we've received from this community has been overwhelming. We can't wait to open our doors to you.
