Hosted by our friends @basic.series, a Perth based Islamic youth group, we will talk about our life growing up as Malay Muslim Australians as well as many other topics that we can share! 18.01.2022 During this stay at home situation we have going on, our sleeping schedules may not be the best, and waking up for Suhoor in the early morning might be a little bit hard, but waking up even 10mins before Fajr and having something to eat, even if it’s a mouthful of water, will have many blessings for you during this month of Ramadan. Prophet Muhammad (S) said: Taking the pre-dawn meal in Ramadan is a blessing, so do not leave it, even by drinking a mouthful of water. For Allah, the Noble and the Mighty, and His angels send blessing over those who have taken the pre-dawn meal. (Reported by Abu Yahya)

Every year, Ramadan comes around, and every night in Ramadan we pray Terawih, whether it be by yourself, or in congregation at the masjid or with the family, and some times your parents might just slide in the casual so when can you be Imam? It’s at this point we realise that we may not know how to lead the prayers and become Imam, or know what to say in between the raka’at of the Tarawih as Bilal. This is in line with our KAMI DATES YOU event of Iftar and ...Terawih, with the first workshop held after Maghrib after the first KAMI Iftar 16th of April. During a time where your blessings are multiplied, even the worth of your charity is multiplied tenfold, so it would be a good idea to take a look and see what charity you could give; anything from money, to food, to even knowledge, what ever you can do for yourself. 01.01.2022 The night of Power, as many may know, is night of tremendous blessings. However, the exact night was not revealed to us. This is because Allah (S.W.T.) canceled this night so that we look for this night for ourselves, and that we strive to keep up with our prayers and worship throughout the month leading up to this night. Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Decree/Power. (Surah Al-Qadr, 97:1) Prophet Muhammad (S) said: It is written in Umm al-Kitab (the Hea...venly copy of the Qur’an) during Laylat al-Qadr what shall come to pass in the following year of good and evil, sustenance and lifespan. Even the pilgrimage of the pilgrim (shall be decided); it will be said ‘so-and-so will perform pilgrimage’ (on this night). (Reported by ‘Abdullah ibn Abbas) May Allah (SWT) give us the chance to find this night and we wish the best to everyone in making the most of these last few days of Ramadan, Ameen!
