24.01.2022 Well into picking again this week. Have got a great crew of pickers. Will be at the Yeppoon Showground Community Market tomorrow. See you there.

21.01.2022 Happy New Year to everyone. Had a day with the family helping pick and process lychees. Ice creams after the hard work.

21.01.2022 Lychees all picked for this season. Now is the hard work of pulling off the nets.. slashing etc. All the trees are growing through already. Have been up early to try and beat the heat. Thanks to all our pickers this year. You were a great crew and worked very hard. All come back next season.

20.01.2022 That time of year again. Putting out the pickets and hoops ready for the nets. Can't believe it is 12 months since we did this. Lychees looking good.

19.01.2022 Now we just have to look out for bats and lorikeets. We cannot net as yet. We have to wait until the fruit turns down otherwise the fruit grows through the net. We also have to contend with macadamia nut borer and fruit spotting bug. Lychees especially the Kwai May Pink variety get pepper spot. So lots of things to contend with before we get the beautiful fruit.

17.01.2022 Have not been able to attach but will work it out. Do not listen to media reports. Australian Lychees are safe

17.01.2022 The rain has finally arrived. We received 39 mm over the weekend and 88 mm over the last 24 hours. The trees are singing and so are we.

17.01.2022 182 mm for the past 24 hours and still raining. Dams are full. Yeh!!!

15.01.2022 Nets all up. What a relief. Lots of hard work done over the past couple of weeks. Thanks to all who helped.

14.01.2022 Our dams and next doors (the Bensons) dam have joined as one. The other photos are of Cobraball Road and our farm from the hill this morning. We had 170 mm overnight. Still raining. Very windy. A few of our new trees leaning over.

11.01.2022 Everyone working hard. I was driving the tractor.

11.01.2022 Putting the nets out over the weekend. Very very hot. Thanks so much to Gary and Matt and Min and Paul for all their help. It is very much appreciated.

10.01.2022 Picking finished for the season. Just wanted to say thanks to our pickers.

10.01.2022 Australian Lychees are safe to eat. Do listen to media reports. Please read attached

09.01.2022 Don't forget we will be at the markets at the Yeppoon Showgrounds tomorrow morning from 6.00 am. Come and get your beautiful locally grown lychees. See you all there

06.01.2022 Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope you eat plenty of lychees. Having a break from picking for a couple of days.

04.01.2022 Pulling out nets with twine to keep bats and lorikeets out.

01.01.2022 Hi everybody. started picking this week. Will be at the markets this Saturday with lychees for sale. Still getting smashed by bats and lorikeets. It is so annoying to pick the fruit and it has been ruined by a peck from a bird or bat. Even though we have tried to pull nets out they still tend to find a spot to get the fruit.
