22.01.2022 It’s scare crow time again. If you have any wool, tin cans or bottle tops, can you pls send them in so we can create a beautiful bee garden of zany creations.

20.01.2022 We need two kinds of helpers for the Tuckshop please! 1- Hands on - helping serve and assist the Tuckshop Convenor on Friday mornings 8.30am - 11.00am. 2- Bakers - To bake goods and deliver to the school on Friday morning. (Cookies, cupcakes, slices, brownies etc).... Please get in touch if you can assist.

19.01.2022 This event has been posted by Chappy Jen Hi all, Just letting you now that next Wed 20 Jan I am running a free event at The Hub, 2 O'Connell St, Gympie that is getting kids, 4-8, ready for school. Free hearing, eye & teeth checks as well as catch up with a speech Pathologist, OT & psychologist about pressing questions. Plenty of fun to be had, food, prizes and the Star light foundation to entertain us. Make it a date from 9:30 to 3:30. See you there

Please consider nominating yourself as a member of the P&C committee. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please fill in a nomination form (available from the school office) and return it to the school office or via email. You can also nominate at the meeting itself. We would like to acknowledge the outgoing executive members, the tuckshop convenor and helpers of 2020 for their time and effort.

17.01.2022 Our Art Show closing date has been extended by a week so keep those awesome art pieces flowing in. The standard so far is crazy good. We love seeing families work together to produce such wonderful pieces. Remember the theme is FARM

15.01.2022 Our egg-sellent, (pardon the bun...I mean pun ), P&C Easter Raffle is happening!! Come in and grab your tickets before the last week of term, to be in the running for over $250 worth of Easter Goodies. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Our Easter Goody Basket contains such delights as: ~ Easter Chocs for the whole family... ~ Glass jar full of lollies ~ Tea towels ~ Ceramic mugs ~ Ceramic egg cups ~ Easter home decor ~ Easter picture books PLUS: * 5 x Gympie Turf Club Entry Tickets * Bottle of Wildflower Red Wine Thank you to the Gympie Turf Club and the Kandanga Hotel for those donations! The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday, 31st March, so hop on down and grab some tickets!

13.01.2022 Ok, we need to dish the dirt...well, not really but we DO need some dirt of the planting variety. We have been kindly donated some lovely plants to beautify our new garden bed, we just need some soil to fill them. If anyone knows where we could get some free soil from, please let us know. We only need a few cubic metres worth. Thanks in advance.

13.01.2022 Kandanga kids will ‘Step Up To Clean Up’ on Monday, 8th March. Decked out in specially supplied gloves and armed with plenty of enthusiasm, students will spend the morning seeking to rid our grounds of any pesky rubbish or trash. Kandanga kids doing their bit to Keep Australia Beautiful!

This means we can host a function to say thank you to the parents and community volunteers that constantly give their time, energy and resources to our wonderful school. It is too time consuming for tuckshop assistants to be providing change while trying to deliver your children's lunches. Orders also need to be in the Tuckshop order box BEFORE morning school bell.
