11.01.2022 ’ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this is a cause very close to my heart & so 5% of all sales for October will be donated to McGrath Foundation - a chosen charity of my mum....heres her story.... My mum, Darlene, was diagnosed with H.E.R-2 Positive Breast Cancer about 5 years ago. The past 5 years have been a roller coaster, from surgeries, countless doctors appointments, long term health issues and some incredible family m...oments, we have made it too now. Mum's not out of the woods yet, while in remission she must continue on some very heavy medications to keep her in remission. This is a story thats so common, and we count ourselves as lucky family, as there are still too many people losing their lives and loved ones to this horrid disease. I'll share more of this story as the month goes on... There is so many reason as to why I prefer these over cotton wicks, but here’s my top reasons;... When you light it, it sounds like a itty bitty crackling camp fire - so it’s not just the smell, it’s a whole experience Cleaner burn - the wood is untreated, unlike some of the cotton wicks that are dyed etc, so you are assured there are no hidden nasties in your Kandle Safety - this is a big one for me. Have you ever had a candle explode (trust me isles scary AF!), I’ve only ever had this with cotton wicked candles. When the wax melts a lot way down that glass the cotton wick can fall against it, causing the heat from the flame to react with the sometimes colder glass - and yep, that’s one reason they break!
