07.01.2022 On this day in 2010 this bunch of legends embarked on the first ever Shitbox Rally travelling from Sydney to Alice Springs via the Oodnadatta Track. Together, 4...8 people in 18 cars with 1 mechanic and no Support 4X4s or Trailers raised $104,000 and started something incredible. Fast forward to 2019. 250 rally cars 500 people 25 4x4s 50 support people 6 Medical support 14 trailers On target to raise $2 MILLION!!! Since this day, our rallies have raised over $17 million for Cancer Council. These funds have had a dramatic impact on cancer research in Australia. For our three 2019 rallies we are on target to raise $5 million in one year! Over 57,000 kms have been travelled and every single state and territory in Australia has been visited, most on multiple times. Name a beaten, rough and dusty road or track in this country and theres a good chance the rally has been along it. Think of one of the smallest towns in Australia and there is no doubt the rally has been through it or near it. We are throwing out a big HERES CHEERS to the 10th year of Shitbox Rally.
