Monsignor Joe Takchi goes above and beyond for his community not only here in Melbourne but also all those abroad. After the flour mills were destroyed in the Beirut Explosion, Monsignor Joe and the Melbourne Maronite Community made it a priority to donate and organise containers full of flour to be delivered to the motherland, to help its people get back on their feet.
