23.01.2022 Wild and windy weather for our beach clean up at Woolley Rocks, Beachport. Lots of rope, bottles, nets, floats and small plastic was taken back to school.

At the end of the traineeship you will have attained a Certificate II in Animal Studies and be well on your way to deciding if a career in animal care or veterinary nursing is for you. This traineeship will provide the foundations of veterinary nursing skills, veterinary reception and animal husbandry and handling. 05.01.2022 In light of the predicted rain and winds tomorrow the planned beach clean up walk from Southend to Beachport will be modified to Beachport beaches only. Students will still be able to purchase lunch in Beachport if they wish. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather.
04.01.2022 Today the Year 8 and 9 class attended an excursion in Robe exploring the concept of Sustainability and circular economies. We donated our bottle caps to Transmutation, and had a wonderful discussion with owners Brad and Narelle about the different types of plastic, and the future of plastics recycling. We followed this up with some tree watering and care in the Little Dip Conservation Park and finished the day with a hard earned ice cream (in a cone with no waste)!
