15.01.2022 The Lions Club of Kangaroo Flat , once again, hosted the Australia Day celebrations where long-time member Frank Ward was presented with Life Membership of Lions International by District Governor Robyn Falloon. Frank has been a member for 33 years and has held all managerial positions. The Lions Club greatly appreciates the assistance of the Kangaroo Flat Fire Brigade members who came along to man the BBQ.

14.01.2022 Pleasant night at combined Maiden Gully-Marong and Kangaroo Flat Lions visit by District Governor Murray Baud. A new member inducted to each club - Elizabeth Hall, Kangaroo Flat & Karen Forbes at Maiden Gully-Marong. Two Kangaroo Flat members received the Milestone Chevron Award for their years of service - Brian Ede, 42 years, and Frank Ward, 30 years.

07.01.2022 AUSTRALIA DAY in Kangaroo Flat. Thanks go to Kangaroo Flat Fire Brigade for their cooking skills and to Geoffrey Graham for his entertainment. Citizen Award 2019 was presented to prominent resident Brian Ede in recognition of his dedicated service to many community organizations - namely Lions Club of Kangaroo Flat, Lockwood Bowls Club, Kangaroo Flat Community House and various organizations over many years.

06.01.2022 Lions Clubs from V1-4 and V6 of the Loddon Valley Mallee regions got behind District Governor Murray Baud's Project to raise money for Bendigo Health - to go to...wards a new machine to diagnose Prostate Cancer. The night was organised by Bendigo Zone Chairman Wayne Drummond and Project Chairman Alan Andrews. Guest speakers were David (Specialist Prostate Cancer Nurse from Bendigo Health) and former Australian Football League Coach David Parkin. Thank you also to the Bendigo Basketball Stadium for their donation to the cause and to all those Lions members and friends that contributed to the raffle. Also a big thank you to Radio KLFM who ran notices about the event throughout the last fortnite.
