25.01.2022 If you like the idea of turning something old into something new, something tired and ugly into something beautiful or even re-imagining something for a whole new purpose, then our Trash to Treasure exhibition is for you. Pop into the Murray street gallery in Kingscote and pick up an entry form. Entries close on 12th March 2021 so there’s plenty of time.

22.01.2022 A big shout out to Wendy, a former South Australian who owns a bush block on Kangaroo Island, who recently purchased a number of items from the KI Gallery to send to friends in the UK The parcel of artwork by KI Art Society members included earrings and a pendant by Jan Pengilly, silk scarves by Maggie Welz, a colourful hat and shawl by Ros Stoldt, a woven shawl by Mia Vickery, glass pendants by Anne Morrison, and cards by Peter Hastwell and Kathie O’Brien.

15.01.2022 I've given you the heads up, now I'm giving you the date. Love Where I Live - My Island Home will be the Spring Exhibition for the KI Art Society. Get your paints, pencils, pastels, hammers, all necessary equipment, and with Love Where I Live - My Island Home embedded in your very artistic brain, go for it. Your artwork will be due at the Society's Murray Street Gallery on Wednesday 23 September. There will be further promotion about the exhibition itself including when application forms will be available, but in the meantime enjoy yourselves creating art wonders, intriguing representations, all a heartfelt expression of the love for our Island.

12.01.2022 KI Art Lives Here Award winning South Australian photographer and filmmaker Ashley Starkey generously created this promotional clip of the KI Gallery when he visited the island earlier this year. Ashley did not hesitate to be involved in the project when asked. All of the KI artists who exhibit at the Kangaroo Island Gallery have been affected by the bushfires in some way....
