You may have noticed our online store has been a little empty lately as have our stockists (and even our Instagram feed) due to everyone's enemy covid So here's a little back story, we launched Kangaroo Island Skincare in April 2019. Eight months later in December 2019 as covid-19 started to take over the world our amazing Australian manufacturer decided to cease production of Skincare to focus solely on production of much needed hand sanitizer to sen...d to struggling overseas country's. Initially this ment a wait of two or three months that neither Tyson or I were overly concerned about as our beautiful Kangaroo Island was facing tragic Bushfires. As you can imagine we were more concerned about the safety of our friends and family and not our little business. The bushfires resulted it a decrease of visitors to the island and that really put a strain on all local businesses, especially tourism based (basically all our stockists). Unfortunately this put us at a standstill until we were rushed off our feet with the #bookthemout and #emptyesky campaign's that were a much needed boost to our confidence and our business, we almost sold everything! and then covid hit Australia and we thought this may be the end, we had very little stock and production dates just kept getting pushed back. Well it wasn't the end and we are back and stronger than ever! We are so extremely grateful for our all of our supporters, every single purchase from our website, all the businesses that continue to stock our products to and all our friends and family that have, and continue to support us and push us forward.
