You can just taste the love and happiness in every bite, and it’s so divine even with just butter. 15.01.2022 Tomorrow is market day in Kangaroo Valley! This month there are hand made salamis, grain free bread and cookies, low mileage produce grown on site, Robertson potatoes, local wine, honey and more. The markets are a great opportunity to take a delicious piece of Kangaroo Valley home with you, so visit the backyard of The Friendly Inn between 9am and 1pm to stock up!

13.01.2022 Ellywan is a very special place full of magical moments that you will never forget. David had a wonderful time during his stay and left this glowing review: 'We were a large group of 11 staying for three days at Ellywan and we were very happy with the house, which is very comfortable, very well equipped and in a beautiful location. The house has two dishwashers, fridges and ovens, which was especially welcome for a large group. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything to cater for a group of 11, and there are two comfortable sitting areas as well as a lovely outdoor fire pit. Fresh eggs from the chickens and nightly sightings of the resident wombats made it a very special stay. The agency was very prompt in responding to any questions and requests. We would love to come back.'

12.01.2022 It’s incredible to think this is how parts of Kangaroo Valley looked one year ago. When the Currowan fire hit on January 4, 2020 many homes were lost, including some of our properties. It was a very difficult time for the community, but their resilience and spirit shone through and everyone pulled together to help in any way they could. There are still areas around the valley today where the impact of the fire can be seen, but it is truly wonderful to see the regrowth and reg...eneration slowly reclaiming the land. We are so grateful to the RFS crews including Kangaroo Valley Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade, emergency services and everyone who was involved in both fighting the fire and helping the community in its aftermath. Thank you for all that you do to keep us safe!
