25.01.2022 Hi guys! Just started this petition to try and encourage IKEA to removes the sale of plastic straws. Please share your support by signing. Thank you! (the ocean thanks you too!)

25.01.2022 Thanks to some recent environmentally friendly guests, we have just past on their donations, resulting in another 20 native trees to be planted. These trees will help bring back the 40% of bushland lost here due to past deforestation. You can also donate directly to www.carbonneutral.com.au

21.01.2022 I talk about Australia Day as it approaches each year on our tours and why I, and many other Australians dont celebrate it. This video is a great insight as to why. #changethedate

21.01.2022 Shawn Mendes...what a legend

20.01.2022 Name the wombat!

18.01.2022 So far, since partnering up with One Tree Planted at the end of last year we have funded the planting of 79 trees in Tasmania! All thanks to our guests who have purchased a tree (one of our guests purchased 10!) as part of their booking or through onboard donations. The Earth thanks you!

17.01.2022 We are expecting 45C in the Hunter Valley tomorrow. Meanwhile, as our Prime Minister sits on a Hawaiian Beach, NSW is burning. We currently have 2.7million Ha on fire at the moment. Yesterday saw another day of Sydney covered in smoke. We are in no danger, and the tours are not affected which is great however this is the reality of the Climate Crisis. Our Hawaiian Beach loving PM, Scott Morrison, doesnt believe in Climate Change. He thinks its just nature doing its thing a...nd is busy trying to open up one of Australias biggest Coal mines and new coal powered generators. The worlds most renowned and respected scientists are all wrong (he says). On behalf of Australia, I simply want to apologise for our government. For their lack of leadership. For not listening to the experts. For not listening to the children protesting in the streets. For not listening to nature as it burns like it has never done before. For prioritising profits over people. For looking at short term financial gains rather than a long term financial implosion. For not playing its part globally in the biggest environmental challenge experienced by mankind. For praying for people suffering instead of creating policy so people dont need to suffer. For locking up innocent children on remote islands and denying medical treatment to refugees. For offering everyone tax cuts to win the last election instead of using that money to fund climate initiatives. For refusing to consider changing the date of Australia Day, January 26th, the date the English arrived to begin colonisation and the day the Aborigines began to lose their land. Our government does not represent us. We are embarrassed. We are disgusted. We are frustrated, humiliated, and flabbergasted. And to our visitors and friends abroad, we are sorry. See more

16.01.2022 Bookings through Trip Advisor/Viator warning. We have had a number of bookings made through TA/V that are not valid. This is because they are an online agent that confirms with you but not with us! So seats have not reserved and some guests have missed out. Please always try to always book directly with tour businesses. Your seats will then be confirmed and we wont have to pay up to 30% commission to them. Yes, up to 30% goes directly to online agents!! But we are forced to join Trip Advisor/Viator, Expedia, Klook etc as they now dominate Google search results, so we can no longer be found organically. If we dont join them, we disappear!

15.01.2022 Our friends at Walkabout Park are under threat by a huge 190,000ha fire that is not far away. You know how amazing this place is...your help would be greatly appreciated by them!

05.01.2022 Understanding is power

04.01.2022 Another Trip Advisor Warning: From February 2020, Trip Advisor/Viator decided unilaterally and without prior notice to operators to increase retail prices on excursions, activities and experiences. The objective is to get a 25% commission for each booking. It means that, when you book through them, 25% of the price is going directly to them. Its not operators who are increasing prices as our net prices maintain the same. Eg a customer in the US yesterday paid $195 via Trip A...dvisor when our tour is only $160! Thats why we want to encourage you to book directly with operators, the same way that you book directly with hotels, restaurants and others. When you book via third parties, a big chunk goes to these third parties. We could understand this would be fair game in exchange for publicity if the rates were reasonable, but 25% is unacceptable, especially when is the final customer is paying for this. Thanks and enjoy your holidays!!

04.01.2022 Hows this for a love story. Molly the Beagle had puppies last month at a cattle farm near Hamilton, in western Victoria, but they died at birth. Days later a possum, abanonded by her own mother, befriended Molly and now theyre inseparable.

04.01.2022 For nature its business as usual. In fact, you could say business has never been better.

03.01.2022 For anyone interested abroad, today is officially Australia Day however many of us are embarrassed that our government continues to ignore our Aboriginal roots. They have chosen, against the wishes of the majority of Australians, a date on which Australia was first occupied by the British. A date which began the invasion of Aboriginal land. Aboriginal Land that had previously been occupied for 60,000 years. Today is not Australia Day. #changethedate

02.01.2022 20 mins from Sydney centre. Dont forget to come back to visit us when the crazy times are over :-)

01.01.2022 Remember guys, only in Australia can you buy the genuine Uggs. We cant legally sell them in the US because of US Trademark laws. So you end up paying more in the States for Uggs made in China (check your made in tag if you have a pair) that have nothing to do with Australia. We love our Uggs here!! So if you want the real deal, find an Aussie made Ugg company whilst your here.

01.01.2022 Why did the (emu) chicks cross the road? Best answer wins. This video shot by Wula Gura Nyinda Eco Cultural Adventures in Australias Coral Coasts Shark Bay was one of our favourite videos of 2019! Isnt it adorable?
