And it's lonely - the kind of loneliness you didn't know existed until you're awake rocking a baby at 3am or going on yet another long pram walk. Never underestimate the power of showing up for your new mum friends. In these strange times, it may not be having wine on the couch while they cry from sheer, pure exhaustion - despite how we might ache for it. It might simply be checking in regularly, holding them from afar, letting them know that you're there. It's telling them if they want to, need to, they can call and sob down the phone - and that you'll hold space for them while they do. It's saying, "I'll meet you where you are." 20.01.2022 Today I had the pleasure of visiting 3 week old baby Dulcie and her gorgeous mum. Dropped off their beautiful new wrap and got them safe and comfortable using it. I will never tire of seeing a beautiful babe sleepy snuggles with their mumma

06.01.2022 One year ago today, I was able to share my first Kangatraining class with some beautiful mummas, some of which are still joining me and Aiden now. What a year it has been! Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am going to have to cancel the remaining classes for this term. But never fear, we will be back in term 4. Last class for this term is In Harvey on Tuesday 11th August for KangaMix at 9.30am
06.01.2022 Why have a babywearing consult? This is a question I often get asked, people wanting to know why they should pay for a consult to then spend more money to get a... carrier. Simple answer is to save you time and money in the long run In a consult I will run through the safety points to be aware of to carry your bub safely. Then I will show and demonstrate the range of different carriers so you can see what’s available. From there it is hands on, you get to play and try the carriers you like the look of and get to figure out what is going to work and then practice and get comfortable using your chosen carrier/s. Throughout the consult you will find out so much about babywearing and tips and tricks to get the best fit for you and bub, coming away from the experience with so much knowledge and awareness of babywearing. You also get a reference video to look back on to help you continue to practice after the consult and you get ongoing support from me. With out a consult you are buying a carrier blindly, not knowing what is going to work or if it is going to fit you both. Then once you get it home trying to figure it out how to wear it. Then thinking that a different carrier might work better then buying another carrier and going through the same process. Possibly going through this process a couple more times before giving up on babywearing thinking it just isn’t for you.
