16.01.2022 Happy Birthday Kangatraining!! In only 8 years Kangatraining has been taken around the world and given so many women the joy of having fun and keeping fit, while having their baby close by them :)

15.01.2022 Kangatraining is for all levels of fitness! I'M NOT FIT, CAN I DO KANGA? Absolutely! Kangatraining is the perfect introduction into fitness, whether it's for the first time or returning after having your baby. The exercises are safe for everyone as we focus on regaining strength in the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. The cardio elements can be done at the lowest intensity to begin with, and you'll soon find your fitness and wellbeing has improved after just a few sessions!!

15.01.2022 Today's FAQ: WHEN CAN I START KANGATRAINING? You can begin Kangatraining once you've been given the all clear from your health professional to start exercising. This is anywhere from 6-10 weeks or slightly longer for caesarean sections.... Your trainer will ask you to complete a health questionnaire to highlight any concerns so that they may modify the exercises in the workout for you. See more

14.01.2022 What Age Should My Baby Be? Kangatraining classes have no age limit. Many people think they can only join in Kangatraining with a little baby, but as long as your child can be worn by you safely and comfortably in the carrier then you can Kanga!! Our Manduca carriers have a weight range of 3.5kg - 20kg....that's newborn to often 3 or 4 years old!!!

13.01.2022 This is a good one if you're interested but not really sure what Kangatraining involves... WHAT HAPPENS IN A KANGA CLASS? We start off with a gentle warm up where we hold the babies whilst doing simple dance moves. Then we do floor work on mats whilst we interact with our babies and focus on our core and pelvic floor strength. After that we pop our babies in carriers and the instructor will check and fit all carriers, and for the remainder of class we do dancing, arm, and leg exercises to music. We finish off with stretches, pelvic floor strengthening and conversation

09.01.2022 Have you had a rough night with your baby? Do you need an energy boost? Would chatting and exercising with other mums get your day back on track? Come on down to Kangatraining at 9.30 this morning, Caledonian Hall!! New faces are always welcome, and your first class is FREE!!

05.01.2022 Do you know someone with a baby or toddler who likes to meet other mums and be active with their child? Let them know about our FREE Kangatraining class this Monday at 9.30, Caledonian Hall! I'd really love to continue sharing Kanga with mums in the Burdekin, but sadly there hasn't been enough interest so far to go ahead this term If you know someone who may be keen or you're interested then please register by PM or through Kangatraining.com.au so we can share the Kanga love thank you!!!

05.01.2022 A great FAQ for today: DO I NEED A BABY CARRIER? No, you don't need to have your own carrier. ... You are welcome to bring your own carrier, which your trainer will assess for suitability prior to the class. Suitable carriers include: * Soft Structured Carriers such as Manduca, Ergo, Tula, Kinderpak * Mei Tai * Woven Wraps Your trainer will also assist you in getting the best fit and comfort for you and your baby. **** Ring Slings, Stretchy Wraps, Narrow Base Carriers and Outward Facing Carriers are not suitable for Kangatraining **** WILL THERE BE CARRIERS AVAILABLE TO HIRE? There will be carriers available to hire at each class to try out or rent on an ongoing basis. Our Manduca carriers can hold up to 20kg. However, these are limited and should be booked in advance. If you love these carriers as much as we do, they are available for purchase.

04.01.2022 Sadly tomorrow's class won't be happening. I'll be able to start classes if there is the interest out there so please keep the word out there and let me know!

01.01.2022 Don't forget our first class of the year is on Monday! And it's FREE!!! So please come along with your babies (older kids are welcome too) and give it a go, what have you got to lose! Register by sending a PM or follow this link http://www.kangatraining.com.au/trainerinfo/1498
