25.01.2022 All of the exercises we do in Kangatraining are DRAM (diastis rectus abdominal muscles) safe so don't worry if you do have abdominal separation. I can asses you at the start of term and again at the end to check your progress. It only takes a few minutes to check and I can show you how to check and feel it yourself. Exercise alone isn't always successful in closing the gap that's why we practice the Tupler Technique. 20.01.2022 Today we returned to #northsydneycommunitycentre for a new term with another lovely group of mum's and bubs. It was a lot of fun and all the bubs were so calm and most slept. Even those that don't normally like being in the carrier. A couple of the mums were concerned about having their bubs in a carrier rather than a wrap or having them inward facing rather than outward facing, some were a little grizzly upon arrival and some asleep in the pram. But by the time they wer...e all in the carrier and the mums were moving to the music they all went quiet. My wee Joey enjoyed a nap too. It was sleepy dust all round. 10.01.2022 1st pregnacy v 2nd (3rd, 4th or 6th...) pregnancy ~ same or completely different? Throwback to my 1st pregnancy, 3 years ago. Here I was just having a leisurely paddle, 2 days later my baby arrived. I'm sure this is what kick started my labour. My 2nd pregnancy wasn't quite so easy breezy, I don't think I was doing anything as active other than running around after my 2.5 year old. I had way more aches and pains, was much bigger and constantly tired.
