23.01.2022 Playground review Today we checked out Pegus Park Playground. Cute little sport themed playground. The kids enjoyed running the track, climbing and sliding down the double slide. There was a long jump pit, cricket pitch with fielders, basketball and netball court, hurdles, and even little trampolines.... Awesome playground if you have sport crazy kids or for a sport themed party. No toilets. Eli’s favourite thing: running track Keira’s favourite thing: slide Eli’s rating: 7/10 (Videos in comments)

23.01.2022 Playground review I said we’d check out some new playgrounds this holidays with the kids. Today it was Walter Day Park in Dayton. Both kids loved it!! ... There was lots of stairs for Keira to climb and big slides which she loved, lots of swings (baby ones, normal ones and a birds nest), a climbing wall and wobbling bridge for Eli. We saw picnic tables, bbqs and toilets. Eli’s favourite thing: rock climbing wall. Keira’s favourite thing: bumpy slide. Eli’s rating: 8/10

16.01.2022 Why is Kangatraining different to every other Mum & Baby class? This program is about...YOU! But why is that important?... Other mums and bubs classes focus on the bub but what about the mum and their recovery? Aren’t you important too? At Kangatraining, it’s the Mums face we love seeing walking through our door! Don’t get me wrong, we love your babies and toddlers too but have you noticed since having a baby that it’s your little one that everyone wants to see! Well that’s what we love about Kangatraining, it makes the mum’s feel special and its all about YOU Mum but also your little one/s gets to come along for the ride! This program is about...YOU for YOUR... Physical Health Mental Health Emotional Well-being There is a wonderful community of women there to support...YOU. So join us today! YOU deserve it! 10.01.2022 PNDA WEEK My story: Perinatal Anxiety isn’t something I knew about when I had my first child almost 9 years ago. I was 20 years old, single and living at home with my parents and younger sister. Throughout my pregnancy I was so anxious about everything that was happening and worried about that the future would be for me and my baby.... As soon as I held him I was overcome with love but I couldn’t believe he was mine. The dreaded anxiety and doubt surrounded me and I constantly felt like someone was going to come and take him from me saying I wasn’t fit to be his mother. I thought that once I was a mother I would know exactly what to do with him but I didn’t, every time he cried or wouldn’t sleep I would just cry thinking I wasn’t good enough. My family was an amazing help but when they were able to settle him when I couldn’t it felt like conformation that I wasn’t what my son needed. Every doctors and health nurse appointment I was terrified they would see what a fraud I was. Anytime the phone rang or someone came to the door I was sure it was someone coming to take him away from me. Although I loved my baby more than anything, looking back I realised I couldn’t enjoy him as I had the constant worry I was going to lose him at any moment. It took me a long time to realise that no one was going to take him, and that I was doing an okay job. When I found my mothers group and realised I wasn’t alone and that other mothers were going through the same things it was such an amazing feeling. I wish someone had picked up my anxiety earlier and I had gotten the help I had needed back then. I wish I knew about the amazing organisations I know about now. If you finding that your thoughts or feelings are keeping you from living your day-to-day life I encourage you to talk to someone and find the help you deserve. https://www.cope.org.au/ https://www.panda.org.au/

03.01.2022 Kangatraining is specifically designed for postnatal mums and is so much more than just modifications of regular gym or group fitness classes. You can always feel confident that the exercises we perform in class are safe for your postnatal body and are designed to restrengthen it. Knowing you are safe means you can relax, be with your baby and have a fun workout!
03.01.2022 It’s time for a getaway! I will be away from Facebook but will be checking my emails daily so keep registering for classes and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Book here: https://kangatraining.info//in/TahneeThompson/booking/2234... Email me: [email protected]
03.01.2022 Did you know that all not carriers are optimal for exercising? At Kangatraining we need your carrier to have certain features to keep you and your little one safe and comfortable while we get our sweat on. We also follow special baby wearing rules called TICKS to make sure your carrier is fitted correctly. Kangatrainers are trained in the best babywearing practices and can assess whether or not your carrier is suitable for Kangatraining and help you to get a great fit.... But don’t stress if you’re carrier is not suitable because I have hire carriers you can use in class free of charge.
