24.01.2022 So happy with our our purchase 12 months ago from Vale View, Bree as we call her is heading into our IVF program as one of our Donor Cows, she is bred well with leading bloodlines on both sides. We are very excited about he future and her impact on our stud. Highly recommend Dave and Colleen Fricke not only for their cattle but they are great company too!

There was 16mm and 4 tiny frogs in the gauge, not as much as other places but very grateful for every little bit. 24.01.2022 We welcome our purchase of Bryvonlea JBH Selik (P) to Kaniel Droughtmasters. After two big days at the Droughmaster Nationals, we were lucky enough to come home with a highly sort after bloodline, Bryvonlea. This guy ticked alot of boxes for us, with his stats being 768kg, EMA 133, P8/RIB 10/7, IMF % 4.2, Semen 80%/84% Nuts 36.5. His rear end is outstanding and much better in the flesh, as stated by his breeders, he's a real meat and muscle package. 11.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that we have welcomed Medway Urie to Kaniel Droughtmasters. We purchased one of his sons at the 2018 DN Sale, Bryvonlea Selik, after seeing his first drop of calves this past season we were even more impressed with this line of genetics. Urie has been a proven sire for the Bryvonlea stud with sons topping at $16,000 last year with Bryvonlea Tunstall and with an average of $9250. When the opportunity came to purchase him from Kross Country Droughtmasters there was no doubt he would be a great asset to have. Thanks to Matthew and family for our purchase of Urie, we are excited to see his calves on the ground.

She is first daughter offered for sale by the great RNA Champion Glenlands D Rambo and by a lead donor cow Glenlands D 2453, which we purchased at the Glenlands Droughtmasters Genetics online sale in July for $15750. By Glenlands Rambo and out of a leading donor cow "2453", Wavell was the top priced lot at the Glenlands Genetics Sale today, purchasing her for $15750. She is a donor level heifer with the combination of dual RNA Champion Bull and leading donor '2453' making her a royally bred heifer. Feminine, deep, long and thick, ...she is an embodiment of her dam. Maternal half sister to the Supreme Droughtmaster Exhibit and Supreme Interbreed Male at the 2019 Wandoan Feature Show and multi award winner, Amazon. 08.01.2022 It's with great excitement we introduce our new purchase, a stylish weaner heifer, Vale View Briella. We fell in love with her at the recent QCL Beef Week open days at Vale View Droughtmasters. She was an absolute stand out in a large mob of wearers and when we found out her pedigree we had to have her. Massive thanks to Colleen and Dave for allowing us the opportunity to introduce her into our small stud. We are very excited by what the future holds for us here at Kaniel Droughtmasters.

06.01.2022 Praying and thinking of so many others in the same and much worst situations. We have a large grass fire in the national park and surrounding properties here at The Caves/Barmoya. It's only a couple of kms away, Dan is down fighting it with many other locals and servicemen and women. All the cattle are now safely at home, some had to get moved off a property that burnt out yesterday afternoon. Our bags are packed if need be. Winds are getting stronger but we can only hope and pray that conditions ease and it's beaten! #qldfires #barmoya #staysafeeveryone

02.01.2022 What's in a Name I have had a few people ask how to pronounce our Stud name and how did it come about...well for those that don't know us our names are Kirsty and Daniel. When choosing our stud name we wanted something that had meaning, like alot of things in life we do them together so we aligned both our first names to bring it all together. K from Kirsty, aniel from Daniel makes KANIEL. Pronounced Daniel with a K. We were lucky to have an obvious choice for our symbol brand being KD over crown with the double meaning of Kaniel Droughtmasters and also Kirsty and Daniel.
