21.01.2022 What a debut of Rixie's IGP career. We are very proud of "little" Rixie. He has done two trials - BH at the 2018 WGSDCA National Championship and IGP1 at the 2019 WGSDCA National Championship. He put me to shame by stellar performances at both events that saw him taking the 2018 BH Champion title and 2019 IGP1 Champion Title. There are things to work on in his IGP career but a debut score of 94 80 96 (270) speaks volume about the potential in this dog. Let's see if the dog ha...ndler can keep up ;-) The obedience is actually Rixie's favorite disciplines and the lower score is a reflection of him dropping the dumbbell coming back from the flat (boofhead) and running around the 1m jump coming back as well (double boofhead). With that said - blessed to get the opportunity to work with this kind of a dog. Shout out to Team Sydney Dogsport Club for the training sport. Photos and footage: Mike & Jane Harper.

19.01.2022 You think this is just about IGP Dogsport & Judges? It's about so much more. It's about the preservation of the genetics which constitutes working dogs. These... dogs have versatile skill sets that far exceed that of any technological device and in many ways these dogs are better equipped than humans. If we do not have Schemes which enable assessments of genetic traits such as sound temperament, workability, trainability and stamina, then we WILL loose the genetic foundation of this group of unique specimens who sit under the label "working dogs". They play an incredible role on so many levels and what makes them so unique is their physical and mental health, loyalty and trustworthiness. Traits that also make them a popular family dog. Do not forget what made them so popular - dedication to responsible breeding using dogs who have proven to have these traits! Support the People whose mission is to preserve these genetic traits so that we continue to have these amazing dogs - even if you just love them as a family companion dog.
17.01.2022 Pups seeing the world outside for the first time.
17.01.2022 Very proud of seeing this youngster making an impact. Out of Jabina Nala x Bruksmarken Wallander.
16.01.2022 And we have 1 set of ears up today. So cute
15.01.2022 Rixie's IGP1 debut at the 2019 WGSDCA National Championship. 96 points.
14.01.2022 Please contact SDSC no later than August 10, 2018 to enable us to finalise the seminar schedule.
14.01.2022 Puppies 8 days old. Growing so fast and already so strong. Bruksmarkens wallander x jabina nala. Sire is a service dog. Dam is an ipo competition dog. Very excited about this litter. PM for interest. Only male puppies for sale.
12.01.2022 Our B Litter from jabina nala and bruksmarkens wallander have now gone to their new homes. Very quiet at home this morning. But what bliss not to clean up after five little fur babies.
11.01.2022 Bruksmarkens Wallander | Imported Semen for sale We are selling the remaining 4 straws (1 BU) from Bruksmarken Wallander. Wallander is the sire of our B-litter August 2017 and all of the puppies are sound dogs (temperament and health wise). Based on Kanikular Bindee who we retained, one should expect Wallander progeny to have an excessive amount of high drive but well balanced and a desire to work. Bindee is exceeding our expectations in all three phases of IGP dogsport. She... got her BH in April 2019 and is well on her way to an IGP1. Two of her brothers are with NSW police of which one seem to have a stellar career already. From a health perspective I would also expect good HD/ED as Bindee's GSDCA AZ is: ED, 0, UAP not present | HD total score of 2 (1,1 on Cranial acetabular edge). The semen is of excellent quality with 3 straws being the recommended BU. Please contact us directly via PM if you are interested in purchasing the semen. The ownership transfer will be in accordance to ANKC semen transfer protocol.
11.01.2022 Mummy would be proud. "Mutley" is after Jabina Nala and Bruksmarken Wallander. Great to see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Keep up the good work
07.01.2022 If the preservation of sound working-dogs matter to you -then please join the fight by way of supporting this fundraiser
05.01.2022 "The People Behind The People" - Lance Collins. For a while I have wanted to make a video following +3 years of educating myself as to the History of the Germa...n Shepherd in Australia with respect to IGP sport. Those who knows me will appreciate that I can get very passionate about this complex yet fascinating history, and I have an obsessive tendency to research matters that I don't understand. I blame that tendency due to my profession as a Research Scientist. I have spoken to many both in Australia and outside Australia regarding the Australian German Shepherd and IGP matter. People in each camp with respect to SL vs WL GSD. Whilst we sometime disagree - one thing is for sure: We all love our German Shepherds and have a wish to preserve this magnificent versatile breed. I have developed relationships with "the other side' - relationships I am very appreciative of. The versatility of the GSD is what I sometimes fear creates some of the 'divide'. I dream about a future where we work together towards restoring a German Shepherd as originally defined: a 360 degree dog suitable for a variety of work, yet the perfect companion dog used for whatever purpose you provide the dog with - and I'm sure the dog will love you no matter what that may be. I want to thank many people who has provided material, thoughts and stimulating some lively conversations at times. In particular I want to thank Jeannie Johnston, Ju Lie, Ian Urie, Louis and Gail Donald who have all been very patience with teaching me the Australian GSD history over the last 3 years. Thank you - it is nothing short of mind bogging! I also want to thank in particular Amanda von Darcor Gabi Hoffmann and Istvan Crystal Kovacs Kennels for our many many phone calls when discussing sporting dogs versus industry dogs or just simple The German Shepherd Dog. Istvan Crystal Kovacs Kennels (Crystal) and Gabi Hoffmann - thank you for always be willing to be a soundboard and for constructive criticism. Please help supporting the existence of IGP in Australia and restoring a complete German Shepherd Dog.
01.01.2022 Some elements to work on in the future but otherwise a lovely dog to handle as he just loves this kind of work.
