18.01.2022 KANIMBLA CHARTERS UPDATE It is with much sadness that we have made the decision to cancel our 2020 charters for the foreseeable future. Whilst most of our guests would deem a fishing charter and essential service, Government guidelines to do not agree. The aim of restricting gatherings and groups is to keep our communities, safe. "Our individual behaviour is the most important thing to prevent Covid -19 spreading" ... We will continue to monitor the Australian Health Authority messaging and as soon as it is safe to resume our charters we will do so. We would certainly hope to be operational within 6-8 weeks but we are experiencing a unique and unprecedented situation that is near impossible to predict. Our kindest of regards to all our charterers, keep safe, keep your distance and wash your hands. Bruce & Louise

04.01.2022 COVID -19 Information. This information is directed at all our charter guests booked to join us aboard Kanimbla in 2020. We would like you to know that we are continuing to monitor the rapidly evolving and uncharted COVID -19 situation.... At this stage we are still running our Swains Reefs charters as usual. We are currently meeting with our local offshore charter operators and as a group, are proactively reviewing any additional measures that maybe required so our vessels remain a safe place for our guests. Naturally, we will remain vigilant and comply with all the latest government and AMA recommendations. The health, well being and safety of our guests, crew and community are of the highest priority. We will be posting updates for any charter changes that may happen. Keep Safe & Kind regards Bruce & Louise

04.01.2022 A month has now passed since we shut down our charters. To be honest I thought we would be living some kind of viral nightmare, but its seems that physical distancing has proven successful in managing the outbreak. So whilst it has been disappointing for all our crew and guests- it was the right thing to do. Given the positive community response we are a little optimistic that we may resume our charters ??? sometime soon. Our biggest hurdle to conquer will be the relaxing of the distancing measures...as you know our cabins "too cosy for covid" . So keep up the distancing and hand washing, so we can get fishing!!

02.01.2022 Covid Update No.4 We're going fishing!! Our 1st charter since Covid Closures heads out to the Swains Reefs this Friday with a group of Queenslanders who had all their fingers and toes cross hoping for the easing of restrictions.... At last all our guests from QLD can now join us on charter. Our next hurdle is to have the borders open so our crews from NSW & VIC can go fishing too! Currently it is hard to predict any vacancies that may arise as we have groups that have participants from different states and access. If NSW & Vic clients cant enter QLD in July we will have the following weeks available for 7 day group bookings: 10th -17th July 24th - 31st July
