18.01.2022 There's plenty to do and see in Kaniva over the weekend of 1st & 2nd Feb 2020. Cars & Bikes at The Car & Bike Show Quilts at The Windmill Stitchers Exhibition & ewe might even catch a glimpse of a mob of about 50 sheep that are roaming the local streets. They are part of the "Kaniva Sheep Art Trail". More details can be found on the Kaniva.info web site

15.01.2022 Here's something for the Kids! Here's a couple of 'Holiday-Hot-Day' Activities. What are you going to do with all the boxes/wrapping paper etc from Christmas Day?? Why not get creative with your kids and build a model car or bike. Bring it along to the Car & Bike Show - More fun for everyone. Everyone, Young and Older can have the chance to display their vehicles! Kids can polish up their collection of Matchbox Toys and bring them along as well.

Rain, hail or shine the Car & Bike Show will be going ahead Some shelters will be available for bikes and cars to park under but if entrants wish to bring their own, water containers for securing them will also be available. Plenty of food options with a Bacon & Egg brekky, BBQ, Canteen, Caffee de Kerb plus more.... Fuel Raffle tickets included in Gate Entry - 3 x $50 Fuel Vouchers to KCR (Kaniva Community nifty Roadhouse) to be won and the Main Raffle of the day with heaps of prizes and all proceeds going to the Bushfire Appeal Fun activities for the kids including their own Matchbox Car & Bike Show display. Local Muscian, Quentin Ashfield will also be providing entertainment throughout the day. Don't forget the Windmill Stitchers have their Quilt Exhibition at the Shire Hall on Saturday and Sunday. A Shuttle Bus will run between the two venues on Saturday Whilst you're in town you might also like to check out the "Kaniva Sheep Art Trail" Hope to see you there supporting great community events
