23.01.2022 FRIENDLY REMINDER

20.01.2022 The cricket club AGM will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd, 7:00pm at the community hub. Remember to wear a mask and keep socially distanced. This will be an im...portant meeting to discuss how we will play cricket this year. All players and parents of under 16.5s and under 14s should attend. See more

19.01.2022 KLU welcomes back a favourite son. Ash 'Snuff' Grant has been appointed A grade coach for the club's debut in the HDFNL. Grant is a multiple league and club best & fairest winner who is eager to take the next step in coaching. He will be assisted by Chris Chaston in a non-playing role. David Willersdorf will coach the Reserves and Daniel Stimson is taking charge of the Under 14s. After an exhaustive interview process with no fewer than 6 applicants for the senior role, all of whom expressed that they had the best interests of the club at heart; we are finally able to move forward into playing and training. Now is the time to unite together, putting the club first, in this exciting new season.

07.01.2022 It’s disappointing there has been a large number of dirty drums illegally dumped at the community DrumMuster site. This act may force the closure of our site, w...hich will cost the cricket club, along with the Kaniva Community Hub, a valuable source of funds. It will also mean locals will no longer have a user friendly site to dispose of their chemical containers. Everyone is reminded ALL drums MUST be correctly rinsed with NO coloured chemical residue in or on them! Anyone wishing to use our volunteer service MUST contact Pep 0407340566 or Buddha 0417526256 See more

07.01.2022 To our valued members, As you are well aware 2020 has been a difficult year for our clubs, both football and netball, due to the COVID and border situations. It is that time of year when we begin to develop our vision for the 2021 season. Due to the uncertain times ahead, particularly in regards to the length and future of the border restrictions, we are beginning to investigate options with both the Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara League and AFL Victoria as to what possibilities ...may be available to us in the year ahead. No decisions have been made at this time, however, it is important for us to be aware of all possible avenues available to us to allow a return to play in 2021, if a season occurs. We will endeavour to keep you as informed as possible as our investigations progress. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Regards, Jason Gordon Kate Crouch KLU Football President KLU Netball President

03.01.2022 **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** AFL Wimmera Mallee has decided to suspend football training due to the increase of Covid cases so there will be no training tonight.

03.01.2022 Reminder that there is a light training session on Wednesday night. It would be great to see a few out on the track.
