24.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: We’re back! The circuit breaker seems to have done the trick for now, so all scheduled bowls can re-commence from tomorrow (Thursday 18th). Th...at means for those in Metro Melbourne, Thursday pennant is back on tomorrow, and weekend pennant is back for all of Victoria on Saturday. Masks are not required for bowls so long as 1.5m physical distancing is maintained. However, The Premier has specified masks are required indoors unless eating/drinking, so please ensure you carry one with you at all time. All other rules around density quotas, hospitality guidelines, etc, revert back to what they were 5 days ago. Clubs must maintain their COVID-safe plans, ensure sanitiser is readily available both indoors and outdoors, and remember to refrain from shaking hands/hi-fives, etc. Stay safe. Look after your mates.

22.01.2022 Sadly we have lost another long time member with the passing of Geoff Hawker. Geoff’s funeral is being held at 2pm, this Friday 12th June, at the family farm. Although we CANNOT attend his funeral anybody wishing to pay their respects to Geoff can do so by forming a guard of honour by parking our vehicles along Leeor Road, from Geoff & Brenda’s gateway, back towards the highway.... If you would like to be a part of this, please have your vehicle in place between 2.15 and no later than 2.30pm, parking along the sides of the road, avoiding the railway crossing, and allowing enough room for the procession to pass through after the service. Social distancing rules MUST be followed, so please stay with your vehicle and don’t gather in groups.

17.01.2022 It is with much sadness we inform members guests and visitors of the passing in recent days of John Meyer and Life Member Lorna Dyer. Along with the passing of Lois Hadden a few weeks ago. All were much loved at the bowls club and were well known by the greater bowls community. They will be sadly missed. Deepest sympathy to all their families.

11.01.2022 In these difficult times it is nice to share some good news. Thanks to the West Wimmera Shire we received a grant of $5000 to upgrade our ditches and banks as well as repair the green. Berry's will be coming to do the work from next Wednesday afternoon until Friday. Due to Covid regulations we please ask that people stay away during this time. Hopefully we can all be back bowling soon and enjoy the benefits of this work.

01.01.2022 Following advice from Bowls Australia and Bowls Victoria we have decided to cancel the tournament scheduled for Sunday. There will also be no further social bowls this season and closing day is postponed indefinitely.
