Should the KAP gain the balance of power this state election, the KAP will divert $3.5...b of discretionary funding earmarked for projects in the South-East to North Qld. We are using the ALP and LNP hot air to deliver our message and it will be delivered with our feet firmly on the ground. And it is a big message. It will be a different world you live in when that balloon lands. I joined KAP State Member Shane Knuth (and candidate for Hill) and Gordon Rasmussen KAP candidate for Cook in Mareeba to deliver this message. The ALP and LNP have committed $7b dollars for yet another tunnel across the Brisbane river and yet another Southbank pleasure dome; the marine aquarium. When we have the balance of power, the Government in Qld will give us $3.5b of discretionary funds that will be used on a number of projects in the north. A Queensland Government owned railway line, Hells Gates dam, ethanol (water for Townsville, algae fed on C02 stock feed), NQBE (the innovative technology innovative sugar mill in Ingham), the Tully Hydro STaDS for immediate engineering design work and the water developments through the Upper South Johnson double weir, Mareeba and Mitchell Rivers. KAP State Leader Robbie Katter said KAP could generate actual change should the people vote for a KAP candidate. We want to make a real statement here in the North and we just hope the people realise if they really want to make a change up here, we are the stable option that can really make things happen. KAP State MP Shane Knuth MP Shane Knuth and Candidate for Hill agreed that the north is on the cusp of major economic benefit. Believe that the tide is turning. The lavish spending in the south, KAP will turn it into constructive infrastructure development that will benefit our region and create jobs, progress and prosperity.
