25.01.2022 Are Electric cars breaking our roads? And what the future holds for the neighbourhoods that need their cars the most.

25.01.2022 The American government understand the benefits of car pool lanes. Why dont the WA State government?

24.01.2022 POOL CAR These Adelaide pranksters have taken carpooling to a whole new level! www.7plus.com.au/news... #7News

23.01.2022 Hey PM! We've got a congestion busting idea that won't cost $80 million.

22.01.2022 'Ride-hailing trips [like Uber, Didi, and Lyft] generate 69% more climate pollution on average than the trips displaced by them.' Imagine the effect if we car-pooled?

22.01.2022 New report into ride-sharing finds "When compared to trips made in private vehicles, non-pooled ride-hailing trips on average produce almost 50% more emissions. With ride-hailing services now providing more trips than taxis, the growth of ride-hailing has directly contributed to increased local pollution and exacerbated traffic congestion in dense urban areas." Kapuddle is authentic car-sharing. Not ride-sharing. Our goal is to reduce car emissions, by reducing the number of cars on the road. We are the the opposite of these taxis by another name.

21.01.2022 Watch Today Tonight to see what Kapuddle is all about. 6.30pm tonight on Channel 7!

20.01.2022 OOOPS indeed. This is also authentic car pooling fo sho!

20.01.2022 We need State Gov support in Transit Lanes for car-pooling. This is not just an environmental issue its a health issue.

19.01.2022 This New Years will be a lot of fun but make sure you are careful on the roads, Police will be out in force and people might be likely to drive dangerously trying to get to their next event. Be careful, stay safe and we will see you next year for more carpooling!

19.01.2022 Infrastructure Australia calls for congestion tax in major cities. We say, try encouraging car-pooling first.

18.01.2022 Surely this is not sustainable. Ever increasing the tax burden on already stretched resources and stretched battlers requires much bigger ideas. Commuters need more reasons to leave their cars at home not more roads to fill with Ubers and Olas.

18.01.2022 This could be an answer. But Transit Lanes and car-pooling are a lot lot cheaper. #justsaying #SaveTheWorldSaveTaxPayerMoney

17.01.2022 Sydney has been awarded the title no city wants to receive - Australia's worst capital for drivers.

16.01.2022 You werent imagining it: Research shows rideshares make traffic worse, not better. A study by urban transportation researcher Bruce Schaller (reported in the Washington Post article linked below) found that Uber, Lyft, and other ride-sharing platforms make traffic worse in urban areas, contrary to long-standing claims they take cars off the road. This study found that UberPools and Lyft Lines add 2.6 extra miles driven for every 1 mile of personal driving reduced. ... For cities that are already struggling with traffic problems, this is bad news.

16.01.2022 A backwards step in ACT. ACT Greens transport spokeswoman Caroline Le Couteur, said the move was "out-of-step" with the governments climate action commitments. "This is the kind of disappointing decision you get when a government wants a cheap, short-term solution, and when they forget about the about the long-term sustainability of the city."... Sounds familiar. Its true in WA too.

16.01.2022 This. Made. Us. Get. Emotional.

15.01.2022 What do you think?

15.01.2022 Grr. State government could sort this now by converting bus lanes to transit lanes to prioritise high occupancy vehicles and banning commercial ride sharing from Uber, Ola and Didi. Ride sharing is crippling the environment, our health and our pockets.

14.01.2022 Congestion is a huge issue. But a Congestion Charge? No thanks. There are better ways. Car-pooling saves money!

14.01.2022 Additional Carpool lanes being added in California to cope with current and future congestion. We could learn something. :-/

14.01.2022 Oh dear. It seems all is not well in the world of ride-sharing. For the benefit of doubt Kapuddle define car-pooling as sharing an existing trip in order to remove cars from the road. These companies not only exploit the drivers, theyre trying to convince people theyre an environmental solution to car-ownership. Theyre not. They are making the situation worse. While making the company shareholders rich. In the short-term at least...

13.01.2022 At the end of the year it's a great time to look back. And just looking at how big Carpool Karaoke has gotten this year just shows how much fun driving around with some friends can really be! https://www.youtube.com/playlist

13.01.2022 $600bn of spending needed over next 15 years, Infrastructure Australia say. Use roads cleverly, we say. Turning bus lanes into Transit Lanes for carpoolers would reduce the number of cars on the roads, and is a lot lot cheaper than building more roads, or widening them. It much cheaper than silly electronic information signs and traffic lights on on ramps, which appears to be WA Labors answer. Real change, real solutions takes vision and courage.

12.01.2022 Story from Bloomberg in America. We've been saying it all along. Ride-sharing (Taxi) 'companies' are not a sustainable solution. You are.

10.01.2022 Car-pooling in hybrid vehicles? Hmm, if only there was an app for that!

09.01.2022 If Westfield want to talk to us about workplace benefits of car-pooling (and see a demonstration) wed be happy to talk.

08.01.2022 We need smarter ways to reduce congestion. Not everyone has a bus route, or train station in walking distance. State Govt could convert bus lanes to Transit Lanes to encourage car-pooling, but they seem stuck on traffic management, and thats not working.

07.01.2022 Infrastructure Australia says roads and transport must catch up to keep pace with population. We say, State Govt must catch up with the research on carpooling.

06.01.2022 We need more High Occupancy Vehicle lanes and fewer ‘Ride-sharing’ taxis like aubergine and Ola. Then car-pooling can work.

04.01.2022 We feel it is time for the WA government to adopt Transit Lanes in Perth to reduce congestion and reduce journey times. What do you think?
