02.01.2022 COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE As of Monday 23rd March, State Governments have agreed to align with Federal advice on the range of businesses to be included in this week’s shutdown. After much consideration, Optometry practices CAN remain open, meaning we will continue to open and operate as per normal. The situation regarding Coronavirus is fluid and evolving rapidly, and we continue to monitor it closely. We at Kapunda Optometrists have a duty of care to support and protect ...our staff, patients and local communities. We continue to be vigilant with our cleanliness and infection control, with staff also completing the Department of Health’s Infection Control Training e-learning course. We understand that these are very difficult and confusing times for everyone. We are all having to adapt to living differently to ensure the safety of loved ones, and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Practice social distancing and ensure we all continue to wash our hands regularly and thoroughly. Now is the time to support each other, to choose love and not fear. We are all in this together. It will get better and we will get through it. With love Amy Smith Practice Manager Kapunda Optometrists

01.01.2022 To our valued Medibank customers, We are aware that many patients who hold Medibank Private health insurance policies have recently received a confusing/misleading letter regarding their optical benefit entitlements. Some patients have interpreted this as suggesting their current Optometrist can no longer provide their eye care - however this is not the case. Vision Hub Optometrists would like to assure all health fund members, including those with Medibank Private, that we ...can continue to provide your eye care AND you can still access your usual private health optical rebate at all of our stores. Our normal health fund arrangements, such as no gap ranges and two for one packages, will continue to be available as will our high standards of care. We hope that this provides clarity, and we look forward to seeing you soon. The team at Kapunda Optometrists x
